Now what would make you think it was ME who broke it Melly?!
Actually, I could well have done although I don't remember doing anything with it this time to break it. Usually I do suck things up I shouldn't, or run over the cable, but since the last incident I have been really careful.
The washing machine has just started making a noise too!!
I am going to get eyes rolled at me when bearded one gets home
Was going to make a cup of tea and have a break from cleaning but think I might leave the kettle well alone...0 -

Not met my late grandfather.
If something would not come off with a spanner, then it was hammer time and if it still did not come off out would come the gas gun and you cut it off :rotfl:

*waves hello to MR3* Hi, yourself and cats are very welcome
Sorry youre feeling ropey today Indie, hope it passes soon.
I have a washer/dryer instead of separate machines. The washing comes out lovely, but the tumble drying bit seems to give a funny smell. Not sure how to clear tbh and sometimes I have no real option other than drying laundry in the machine:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0 -

Just an intro about me if that's ok...married mum of 3, school dinner lady and carer to youngest son who has fragile x syndrome and getting eldest tested too soon. Both me and hubby suffer from stress and anxiety and depression but not diagnosed as such or being treated ATM. Can I bring 3 cats and wine and choc in the fort please? Xx
You'll have to have this MR3 as your new avatar! Hahahaha!
And many congrats on getting the OU degree!
That's no mean feat at all, with 3 children!
What were your subjects?
Many moons ago, I did an OU degree! They're great, aren't they! Best courses I've ever done!mellymoo74 wrote: »have you broken it again Katy?
we need to get you a magic hammer
Now, stop thinking it's you that breaks them! If you're the one using it when it goes wrong, it doesn't mean it's your fault! Think of all the times over the years when you've used these things and they haven't gone wrong!(I just lurve spiders!)

Blocked filter, maybe? I don't have a dryer, but I think there's a filter that can get blocked with fluff, or something!
Either that, or the machine needs a good clean with soda crystals on a boil wash?(I just lurve spiders!)

I'll have a go at finding the filter. I use vinegar as fabric conditioner so the washing side is ok. Not sure I'm up to delving into the machine today...
How are you, Pyxis? i can't remember you saying recently (or my memory is just poor lol):AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0 -
