Room for another? I havent done this challenge in about a year.

I REALLY need to stop doing top up shops several times a week, so hoping that this challenge will help. It should also help me to keep within my grocery budget (for a change!).

So can i please aim for 20 NSDs for this month.

I remember you,of course.Great to see you back WTBSE! :hello:

Oops,I don't mean to make you feel bad. It's not easy keeping tabs on a lot of threads. :o
    don't worry - you didn't :)
You think you can match me on dvd numbers - that's a relief...It's not just me. ;)
    Let's put it this way.....

I'm LLF (legally licence free - TV that is), so I mainly rely on DVDs for entertainment. I claim payments from a survey site (roughly £15 every couple of months) and two cashback sites (varying amounts) and a research panel (should be around £10 every 6 weeks, but I'm still new to this one) in Amaz0n vouchers - I've credited £120 to my Amaz0n account this way so far this year.

The majority of my DVDs are £2 or less including postage (most single films are £1.30 or less) including some box-sets. Some box sets cost (considerably) more, but then they have more disks in one pack so may well still work out at under £1.50 a disc ;)

So that's a lot of DVDs in a year :o

In fact, 35 so far this year (for just over £55, so an average of under £1.60 each and less in total than 5 months of a TV licence would cost me) - and that includes a couple of box-sets, and several with more than one film to an outer box (so considerably less than £1.60 a disc). I've also had a couple from a charity shop (£1 each).

I'm currently waiting to find out if Amaz0n manage to get fresh stocks of a biiiig set I ordered a couple of months ago (41 discs for just over £15) but I'm not holding my breath as they recently cancelled an order I placed in Feb for a smaller set due to it 'no longer being in production' :(

I don't fancy counting my CDs either - nor my vinyl !!!

And books (especially cookery) is probably another area I'd best stay away from :D

No I think the site is playing silly burgers! I suspect they are trying to get the new "improved" (hah!!!) skin out to all users (see the old one is bwoken- use the new shiny!)
They're not [strike]shoving me over[/strike] persuading me to move that easily.... had a quick look at when they booted us that way as it launched, and really didn't like what I saw!

Another site I use changed format a few years back, and I only made the move above 12 months ago when they introduced a feature I wanted to the new style (never updated the old which was fair enough).
