Looking to reject my new VW Polo Blue GT

you seem quite confident that you have a case to reject the car and if you do try to reject then be prepared for a fight
the other thing is the day that you hand a letter to the dealer stating that you wish to reject the car then you need to park it up and stop using it from that point on
if you are rejecting the car you are saying it is not fit for purpose so if you carry on using it daily then you will severely weaken your case for rejection0 -
As for the scratching - how is the car washed?
The rest of the issues just sound like any other car on the road.
If they can't replicate the fault how do you expect them to fix it? Did you sit in the car with them to give them a demo of the various noises?0 -
Car is washed by me using a sponge and a chamois cloth, but these aren't scratches I'd associate with washing, they are hairline scratches, don't bother me that much I just mentioned it on a side note, there is nothing really the dealer can do about them.
I have sat in the car with them, all noises they can hear and say it's just the car. The grinding feeling on the clutch one guy could feel and said it was vibration due to the 'high performance' clutch. The other two guys couldn't feel it they said.0 -

I'd suspect that the sponge wash and dry with a chamois is what is introducung the scratches.0 -

if your scratches are on the roof or flat panels they could be caused by washing with a sponge and drying with a chamois, I wouldn't use either on my car and wash with a noodle wash mitt/ a sheepskin wash mitt and dry with microfibre towels
the other thing that may be causing the scratches are cats, if you have a cat in the area that likes walking over cars then they will stick their claws out if they cant get a grip and can cause long hairline scratches on paint0 -
Well the scratches do not coincide with what I would put down to me washing it. They are mainly on the back bumper in different directions, about 2" in length, funny though as next door do have a cat....0

Hi all
I have taken a video for you to hopefully hear the whirring noise I refer to, sounds much worse whilst in the car....
