it's hard I bet to not feel that way at times. But if you've managed this, just think what else is possible once you are debt free??" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I was only thinking last week that when its all paid off I could reduce my hours and only work four days a week without noticing much of a difference. Not that I plan to do that but it really put it in to perspective!0

I find there are far too many buy one get one free offers.. or things for £1, but i don't need anything and they are always on offer so i'm not missing anything! How nice would a 4 day week be? something to work hard for!Virtual sealed pot 2019 member #6 :j

Nope, my plan when all the debt is gone is to save the same amount each month as what I've been paying to attempt to get together a deposit for a house. I'm going to be mid to late forties though by the time my credit score is anywhere near ok again
It's the emails that get me! Come back - we miss you - 20% off! I've also been consciously avoiding any beauty blogs and YouTube channels because the minute they say something is amazing I NEED it!0 -
Another NSD (#2) today, I am on a roll! Have written letters to close two bank accounts so I now have the grand total of £4.86 due back to me as they both have microscopic credit balances - that's nearly another £5 to hurl at my credit card!
I have decided to try and get rid of my "small change stash", I have a large vase type thing that I throw all of my small change in to, there is nothing bigger than a 5p in there but I am going to keep 50p worth in my purse and use it whenever I go through a supermarket self checkout. I have no idea how long this will take but it's basically "free" money! I wonder what would happen if everyone in the UK got rid of their coin stash from home in the same week - would the banks have a big enough storage facility to keep it all in do you think?!?
Tomorrow won't be a NSD for me but it will be a cheapy! I will take my own lunch in to work again but I need to buy a stamp to post one of the above letters (remembered that I had set up a Royal Mail prepay account yonks ago and when I checked it had a balance of 75p in it which was enough to print off one stamp! hurrah!)0 -
Well done on your NSD today, and for closing two bank accounts! I wonder if they could cope with all the spare change too! We have an old cider bottle (one of those 5l jobbies). We put all the spare coppers in there, and I have a Terramundi pot for the silvers.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

Someone somewhere should do a proper survey and estimate how much change is being hoarded!0

Nothing very exciting to report today. Had a cheapy day where all I have bought is a second class stamp! Tomorrow should be another NSD as I have milk in the fridge and petrol in the car and enough bits and bobs to take lunch in to work with me. I'm going to treat myself to a Costa Latte on Friday as really chuffed with how focussed I have been this week!
Fingers crossed, I should be able to clear my credit card debt by the end of next month (balance is currently £265.33) which will mean only one creditor left from August onwards, I do admittedly owe that one creditor a shed load of money though
Have used up two things from my toiletries/make up stash so pleased with that.
Have a few bits and pieces to stick on eBay over the weekend, they have been sat in the corner of my spare room for weeks now so will probably need to iron them before taking pics - grrrrr.0 -
Good luck with the debt-busting. My debts at their highest were nearly 10K in Jan 2014 but now I'm down to just under 2K left to clear - exciting times ahead!Starting 2016 debt-free
