Calling from the UK to UK Phone which is Abroad

just got an email back from Tesco Mobile:


I'm sorry for the incorrect information provided in our last email. I have taken your feedback and will forward this to my support team as it will help us to improve overall customer experience.

I can confirm if you'll call the Tesco Mobile number which is outside the UK from your Tesco Mobile phone, you'll be charged from your tariff minutes allowances. Once your tariff minutes allowances will be used/finished, you'll then be charged 25p/minute for calling that mobile number.

However, the user of the Tesco Mobile number who is in abroad, will be charged for receiving the call as per the country specific he is in.


So back to the start then.... we are all right and Tesco Mobile CS are wrong so are Ofcom.... you would think they would all know this inside out... it is what they do !!!!!!.... lol

Now the costs do vary, and are next to impossible to predict by looking at the number. What can be worse?
