DS has found a little job, its unpaid work in a local charity shop but the experience will be a great help for the future, not to mention building his confidence, hoping he might even make some friends along the way, anyway he starts tomorrow so fingers and toes crossed all goes well...........:D

Need to rest my foot today, my own fault, have overdone it and paying the price, funny thing is I am suffering with neck pain more than foot pain. Doc seems to think its probably muscle tension, stress and the result of lugging that blooming heavy moon boot about....will have to force myself to have a restful day.....plan is bottom on sofa and foot on cushion, try to de- stress Lol.........see how things go ;)
DS first day at working in charity shop went well, he got on really well with the other staff and is now been accepted as a newly recruited part of the staff....very proud.:T
OH still making a determined effort......started smoking again, but he needs a crutch of some sorts whilst he tries to keep sober and to honest I haven't the energy to nag him to stop....the house feels more like a home, hoping to enjoy it for a little while longer..............please!!
Find out later today just how much money I get for not working this week...................not expecting the earth, just hope I have something to throw at my mortgage fingers crossed....:)

Whoo hoo good news very nice sick pay of £160, hoped for £100 didn't expect full wage. Amount without overtime, not sure I will get the same next week but happy for now....
Have thrown £120 into mortgage and £10 paid off CC.
Bad news....Weighed myself today and although I knew I had put on weight, clothes getting tighter.... I never thought it would have been sooooo much, nearly half stone and in less than 2 weeks.....so I made a promise to cut down on my sugary treats starting today, lasted all of 6 hours have just polished off the Terrys All Gold my DS bought me when I broke my foot, now I am sitting here writing this feeling sick and guilty at the same time, will try harder tomorrow......BAD:eek:
Moving on ....Must have been the longest most boring day ever, I have done nothing, not a thing.... the pain in my neck has eased, but not sure if it is more likely due to the pain killers Doc gave me than the rest, keep looking at my ironing basket and willing the pile to shrink ..............have to get out tomorrow or I will go truly mad

    DS 0…. CC B £1,580/ CC S £1,600/ CC A £100....£3,290 total …. Mortgage £100,000 /£65,300 paid £34,700 remaining….EF..80.00 (65,380)..........

Foot feeling better for the rest yesterday....neck still a pain:eek:
Up early, clothes and war paint on, ready to have a couple of hours out, meet Dmama for a cuppa then can manage to hobble around a few shops....only window shopping I might add....;)
Then meet DS after his morning shift :D
Roofer coming this morning to hopefully give a partial quote on the damaged roof causing the leaks in the bad weather, would save a fortune if we can avoid paying for the full roof to be replaced....the sooner he gets here the sooner I can shoot out of the door, well maybe not shoot, bit to optimistic :rotfl: Lol Xx

Thankyou, lovely lunch had, ham sandwich made before we left "decided on going just for drink", sit in the sunshine then followed by nice walk around carbooty....and no silly spends Xx

Hoping to have a little cash left over from the last few frugal days, roughly £10 hmm mortgage or cc?? not sure what to pay it towards yet............

Pleased with my initiative this afternoon.... needed a seed catcher for my messy birds....those plastic things that attach to the bottom of the cage to help stop the mess and because we have such a large cage the prices on ebayy were ridiculous.......so bought a clear shower curtain from £1land cut the top into a long strip attached the plastic shower rail clips, which were great to attach to the cage, works like a treat and Whoohoo £9.00 saved, and no more mess....clever me;) funny how so easily pleased....what a very exciting life I lead:o:o
