Aldi NPE

The pub didn't open until over an hour later. It make be cheeky to park in the pub car park but no harm was done & it's not a crime. In any case a representative of Aldi told the driver that it would be OK to park there.I know, but I assume that they would be opening soon. In any case, the land belongs to the pub and the OP was going to Lidl0 -
Hi
Thank you all for your replies.
Northflakes - No I haven't at any time. Will complain to Steve Clarke at BPA, thanks.
Enfield freddy - 3 days after. The car was parked there on Sunday 12th April and the letter arrived on Wednesday 15th April
I have just sent an email to Aldi asking them to cancel this PCN. While drafting the email I realised the line in their photo of the bay my car was parked in is white not blue nor does it have the solid blue line as stated in their points of the rejection of my appeal so I have been back to the car park this afternoon and taken a new photo as the white line has a blue line painted over the top (sorry don't know how to include a photo). I have included all photos in my email to Aldi.
I am also drafting my POPLA email as I know i only have 28 days from the date of their letter to appeal and will email Steve Clarke at BPA
Thanks again and I will keep you posted......0 -

hang on , "I have just sent an email to Aldi asking them to cancel this PCN"
who has issued a notice ? the people that look after the pub or aldi?0 -
After checking the wording of their reply to my appeal:
"Thank you for your letter of appeal against the above parking charge notice issued to you on 12th April 2015 at 10.22am for reason ‘Non Patron’ at ‘Heartsease Pub, Plumstead Road, Norwich’. "
I think the pub but need to check their first letter so will get back to you tomorrow.0 -
ok , getting confused here , are you getting a ticket for parking or badly/overstay on ALDI land or the pubs land?
aldi
will have one company doing there parking , probably not the muppet from NPE , and the pub will have there own (NPE?)
so if you have parked on the pub land , why complain to aldi ?0 -
It sounds like a single car park, so presumably a single set of signs and a single PPC?0
-
NPE = Aldi ????
don,t sound normal for aldi to crawl that low ,0 -
This is one car park, two different PPC's operate in it, loads of signage, all very confusing.0
-
so it seems the OP has fired off an email to aldi , when in fact the land in question is looked after by another PPC0
-
From GSV it looks like there is a single car park with a single entrance. I can see a PE sign but nothing for NPE. There is no physical barrier & no NPE signs at the car park entrance so there is no possibility of them claiming any rights to enforce parking.
