No, When I was running the business I had no stock- as it was a dropshipping business.Anyhow as I say enough about the Business its old news and in the past.I am only intrested in relavant posts to the current situation I am in.

That is likely why you were declined wtc then. I'm surprised NEA covers drop shipping tbh, profit is minimal and all you have to do is list the products online. Most people don't do very well from it I'm afraid.Maybe NEA needs a shake up!

In that case, I have no idea aside from my original one of phoning the job centre and asking them. Nobody can really tell you what will happen but they can give you a rough idea. There is the possibility of an advance payment I guess.

Exactly, that is the whole problem of this absurd 5 week delay in a payment!! What if no Advance is issued? How am I expected to wait 5 weeks to have any minimal cash to buy food/ pay for bills especially as I have no friends/family I can borrow off??

    Suggestions very much welcome.

My last payment was £33 on friday 22nd May,my next payment due would of been £33 this coming friday. But as I claimed for UC on Friday 22nd I will not be getting this payment as the computer systems automatically cancel the NEA payment as I have now claimed UC .

A lot of DWP payments are made in arrears so you may get one more.

Have you got anything to sell?

How have you been living off £33 a week?!

Maybe I will get one more, but highly doubt it as checked dates etc.... I have nothing to sell ( done that already ).As for the £33 a week, thats the problem, its basically £20 less than a hardship payment!!

I have been reading about the " SHORT TERM BENEFIT ADVANCE" .I will ask for one of these to be issued so that I do not have to wait the 5 weeks. However, I already have an outstanding amount of Budgeting loan when I was previously on JSA. Will this likely affect the chances of not being awarded the " Short term Benefit advance "?

I sincerely hope not, as I cannot wait 5 weeks for the UC payment to be issued.

    Thanks,
    Kelly.
