    I've been Money Tipped!
Some of the more Westerly stations on Crossrail look like they have a long way to rise

personally, I am looking at additional investment properties around Clapham Junction area.

lots of investment overspill from folks priced out of vauxhall

If Crossrail 2 comes to fruition, the area should jump up nicely.

If looking for an investment I'd be looking at unfashionable towns and villages around the crossrail. Not necessarily on the crossrail, but close enough.

For example, houses in Thatcham (shudder) are maybe 25% lower than the 2 big towns that bookend it (Reading and Newbury). It has an excellent train station which already gets you to Paddington in 50 mins, and Reading for the crossrail in under 20 mins. Excellent connections to the M4 via the A4, so is good for LHR too.

There's a Waitrose, a Costa and in 5 minutes you can get to one of the best high streets in England - Newbury.

Just need some wealthier people to move in and drive out the feral youth.

You can pick up a nice detached 3-bed with garage for around 300k in the Dunston Park development.
