  • As promised, please see "Formal Demand".

    I will endeavour to obtain a picture of the sign, littered around the site.

    I like the bit on page 2

    1: I was the owner

    2: name who was driving

    3: nothing

    what a load of cobblers

    a letter needs to be written to the dvla asking by who and when your details were assessed on there database , it might be an interesting answer (ie somebody else) then you can fire in properly

    what was the date off offence?
  • I have a good mind to send it back with number 3 ticked, with their own address as correspondence address!

    no , seriously you need to find out who giot your info from the DVLA , this is crucial , because they should not be able to get it , its not there land.

    big doo daa time for some
  • I've already emailed DVLA foi@dvla.gsi.gov.uk on15/05/2015, email as follows.

    Hello

    Re: NAME
    ADDRESS
    ADDRESS
    ADDRESS
    ADDRESS

    DOB
    Vehicle Reg

    I have recently received a "Charge Notice" from a company called Ace Security Services. Their website is located at acesecurities.co.uk

    I would like to know:
    How a non BPA / AOS member has been able to access the DVLA database;
    How Ace Securities have obtained my details;
    What measures/How the DVLA have worked to ensure that data is not released to a non ATA member? As clearly this has happened. I'm sure you are aware, any release would be a breach of the DPA.

    I presume DVLA should have records of who they released the information to. Therefore, should know which company is passing information in an unregulated manner.

    As a result of the above, I would like, in reply, for you to:
    Investigated the matter as a DPA breach
    Provide me with information on which organisation(s) my data has been released to, in the past three months
    Identify which organisation has released my information in breach of DPA

    Thanks

    Their speculative invoice is outside the limit (overgenerous!) used by the two trade associations.

    AS such, the amounts would be unenforceable and, for once, we can use Beavis CoA comments in your favour.

    Simply write to them stating that their charges are outrageous, punative and unenforceable and should they wish to pursue this in court, you look forward to claiming substantial costs for your research.

    Oh, and as you were not the driver at the time and they are not following POFA2012, you decline to name the driver.

    It's interesting they advertise "Parking Services" on their website. It's amazing that a company who claim not to monitor parking advertise they monitor parking.

    the bevis case is for parking , not trespass , it you can stand it read http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=93337

    this trespass thing has been going on for years before the DVLA stopped then , then they went to court , then the supreme , awaiting a decision now , this could affect ACE and ANPR a lot
