FFP... You're here!!!! *squeezes* I missed you heaples!!!

I have gutted half a room, it took me 3 hours and I am broken.. I wiped down the French doors, vacuumed the slug slime, scrubbed the coffee table and the girls table, filled a binbag, banished a pile of toys to the front room, though most have only reached as far as the hallway.. but halfway is nearly there right?!

Pixie keeps asking for her nappy off so she can sit on the potty.. I am absolutely NOT training her now.. I've only just got the other 2 reliable I'm not doing that again now!! She can wait until at least summer hols.

    DW x 3 today
Aired some washing in the TD
Washed DS2's clothes at 60'C ... I NEVER wash anything at 60.. this is a major deal.. I added extra wash powder and some disinfectant.. his clothes were honking!!!!! He has issues around clothes and bathing and at 19 is a bit big for me to strip and wash or I absolutely would!

I had 2 extras this evening.. 1 was planned the other turned up to avoid her sister who has just been released from the mental health unit and scares this girl so she hid here. I felt very rude though I thought she had gone home and dished up dinner and shouted everyone to eat and she wandered through too... I NEVER do that! I am just so tired I didn't even think to do a head count.

OH and I are in text talks.. so avoid a conversation like grown ups.. this is insane but it seems to be working.. We have narrowed the name talk to 3 options.. 1, get married (£49).. that will sort all 3 names and also alleviate the immediate need for will which at a price of £150+ each we cannot afford. 2, change mine and the girls to his name (£48) or 3, change the girls names to his and I change mine to something else entirely (£73).. which leaves me in exactly the same place as I've been for the last 6 years. ... I've been waiting on his reply since about 2pm.. it's not going to be forthcoming without a kick I think.... He has until Friday.

    Morning all

Woke up early needing a cuppa and a biscuit (or 2)

No sign of the ring, I fear it is forever lost. I am not certain she lost it where she thinks she did.

Feeling a tad fed up this morning, had a row with OH last night. He was in the kitchen when I drove up with boys from 3 hours at cricket. He did not open the door despite kitchen looking out over the driveway and door being in the same room, he never does, I find this rude, he doesn't see my point and argued he was doing something.

    Plan for today:
    paperwork
    CS and scrap store drop
    Wash cat bedding
    hoover
    gardening
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Morning - hugs Dusty - I sometimes think men are from another planet - change that to often!

Up early as I promised cake for ch shop so must deliver!

Very pleased as H**C came through quickly and efficiently with Marriage allowance. So transferred some of my non-used tax allowance to DH - very easy and painless and will benefit us by a few extra squid!!

Ch shop this morning then shopping then online M n S to use vchr - need first to work out what I need for hols so I don't have to go naked. So much is far too big and cannot be altered easily. However I did get a skirt (size 12!!!!!!) for £13 yesterday - rrp £30. So I have a range of sizes 20-12 now in wardrobe! Oh I forgot - still have wedding dress from 31 years' ago and that's a 10!!

Have a great day everyone. x

Pigpen it does sound like you are getting somewhere with the whole name thing. Sometimes with men face to face conversations are just too much.

Bit tired and flat this morning. Paid stuff then voluntary stuff so will be out all day. MUST sort OHs monthly bills tonight or we will have no money!

Well done Mummyroysof3. Work want me to take the next level of a course that I started but I just dont have the time at the moment.

Right best get moving. Going to put towels in the wash, looks like the sun is going to shine!

Morning all, and welcome back FFP

Well done Mummyroys :T My DS2 has just submitted his final essay too :)
    HB :rotfl:
(((Hugs))) to Charlieyates - you won't be so nervous next time ;)
    Pigpen, keep texting!
    Good for you, Narc0!
    Boddy, any news?

Lynne and Frizzle, my list is always too long. One day I'll get it down to manageable proportions....
Yesterday evening I managed to mow the lawn and trim the edges whilst cooking for tonight's meal for 15, thinking about the feedback questionnaire and chatting to our new NDN - multitasking at its best :rotfl:

Still things that must be done today:
    - send DH out to post a parcel and get the biscuits and eggs that I forgot yesterday :o
    - tidy the RoD aka study-bedroom - I will have to hide some boxes in the eaves loft for 24 hours!
    - get DH to sort his stuff in our bedroom
    - clean bedrooms and bathroom (maybe DH will hover for me)
    - type and print labels for the Pudding Party
    - prepare salads and bake potatoes
    - make a "Tiramisu Trifle" using up the coffee sponge layers that failed to rise properly when I made them a fortnight ago and have been in the freezer ever since, waiting to re-appear in disguise at the Pudding Party :rotfl:
    - be out of the house by 3.40 pm

Hope everyone has a good day. Catch up later x

Lynne.. don't hold your breath!!! I can't be responsible for your asphyxiation! I actually feel like we are 2 steps forward.. hopefully this waiting for him is the 1 step back so we can move forward again.

    Everyone off to school

Dot at nursery, she has a trip to the park.. so I have a peaceful morning with just Pixie who is being dressed and sent to the garden which is wet but finally stopped raining! I want t get a bit more of this room decluttered and cleaned.. maybe stuff more wool into the cupboard under the stairs! It is kind of taking over the room.. and I need to sort my project basket I have a feeling it is 3/4 full of biscuit wrappers, toys and stray letters!

A few loads of laundry need to go out too.. and I want to vacuum through downstairs... it shouldn't be too difficult without Dot underfoot being wild.

Good morning. Thank you for all the hugs and messages. Sorry i cant reply individual as on my phone and can't go back to see names. Did a trial last night. Wasn't too bad but a bit achy now. My sister was also at the group interview, neither of us knew the other had applied. She's had an email already this morning saying she was unsuccessful.

Lots of flying to do today. Girls have got up in a better mood which was great, they weren't late for school for first time in ages.
going to have a coffee and start on the bathroom first as it's not too bad and then see if I can work backwards on the list.

hope everyone is well, sending hugs to those that need them xx

    Good morning.

I am a great grandmother to a beautiful baby boy born at 5.49 this morning. He is three weeks early but he is fine. DD text me at 4am and I couldn't go back to sleep. So walked down to the hospital as soon as it was light. I've had a lovely cuddle of him. DD was her birthing partner and has gone to get some sleep.

Back home and decluttering a cuppa.

Flying wise I'm just going to whizz round with the Hoover and dust.
