Tax credit investigation concentrix

Mines still ongoing letter dated 20th April turned 3 weeks later. Had till 6th June to send stuff back.
Rang they have received paper work and now it will be reviewed
It's not accurate as I estimate so I'm hoping they just take my overpayment back monthly over 12
Months!
Mine had red line on which I now think is a flag to show its been dealt with my concentrix. Got to ring back in couple weeks if not had paper work or decision.0 -
I also had a letter asking for the childcare proof from 2014-2015.
I have replied with a copy of my latest invoice as an example of what I pay, as I am still waiting for my provider to give me a breakdown of the entire year.
I don't know whether they will stop my payments in the meantime. I hope not.
I estimated at £20 per week, but I think my actual costs look like £15 per week so I will have to pay some back.0 -
Keep in touch cause concentrix letter does state they will stop payments or part of payments. My letter says 6th June.
But I know they have received the docs just waiting on them which could be couple weeks.0 -
Has anyone had a final decision yet? Recieved another letter today asking me to update my tax award which I have already done. Hmrc have added my two childcare providers that I have used for the year together instead of looking at them separately so yet again they have messed up!! The whole system is being a bit of a joke!!0

I'm in same boat, childcare costs being investigated. I pay online and have printed out all costs, and returned to Concentrix along with renewal. However I need to update the current years claim so that they know my older daughter is staying in education from September, and after 3 days trying to get through to usual helpline number, I was told they couldn't update ANYTHING on my claim whilst it was referred. Tried to call Concentrix to see if they can update my info for my older daughter for this year but the 2 numbers I was given just gave engaged tone, not even answering system message. When's the best time to get through to Concentrix? I was given numbers 03000 566387 and 03000 566384, anyone got another number that will go through to a person? and how long does this all take to sort out?0

Does anyone know why some checks are being done by tax credits and others are being done by concentric.
My paperwork was to be sent to tax credit compliance and is for further education.0 -
We got a letter from Concentrix a while back, asking for almost a years worth of payslips and hubby's contract (we get WTC and CTC but no child care element)- I phoned to explain letter had taken a while to reach us and how there might be a delay getting original of hubby's contract (he has signed photocopy)- they were very nice on the phone. Once stuff was sent it took them no time to process and tell us all was fine. This was December/January time.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

They needed more staff to do the checks. They have just split them up between the two. It makes no difference - same letters and same checks.

I'm self employed and have been for a few years since being made redundant and then unemployed for a year, before landing my job I was bounced around the system for 8 years.
I'm disabled and work a max of 16 hours selling items online through Amazon and Ebay and got a Concentrix compliance letter today (dated 5th June - must have fallen through a wormhole!) after submitting my claim renewal in mid April by post (Confirmed received by HMRC on the 24th April) - chased it up the other day.
They want the in's and outs of a ducks bottom for the last year or that will be a £3000 fine please. Some of it does not even apply to me ie vehicles for business (can't drive, have a provisional licence for ID purposes only) I don't place adverts either and don't know what do a person's qualifications have to do with it but they asked ones related to my trade/business, my qualifications are related to Graphic Design and Audio Visual Technology ie Video Editing, Photography, Computers ect.
I will provide them with what I have which is a bank statements, ebay/paypal income, amazon income, stock inventory in and out and my tax return, tax code ect. There is no citizen's advice in Ealing where I live anywhere, I'm going to call one in Chiswick on Monday for advice as this is affecting my already poor health by stress (caused a IBS attack)0
