Pizza Hut Buffet Ripoff

That's not what the op says. The op said the waitress was originally unaware of the time. Why make things up just so it sounds a good complaint?
I would suggest that she could had misled the customer, or had not yet got the required educational standard so as to be able to tell the time, but in reality perhaps the poor girl could not afford a watch on the wages she was on!0 -

Or perhaps she was just busy!0 -
Maybe the waitress didnt like the op.0

in my opinion the waitress is there to serve the customer - no matter what her 'terrible wage' is. My sisters friend works there and because she works hard, is nice to the customers and knows what she is talking about she earns about £8/10 PH (wage + tips). If she is going to sell an 'all you can eat buf.' that she knows closes at 3 she should be aware of the time.Debts: Gym £[strike]465.75[/strike] Student account [strike]£1039.88[/strike] Overdraft [strike]£129.00[/strike] Credit Card [strike]£2772.22[/strike] Loan [strike]£6222.01 [/strike]
Total £10628.86
All paid off! 10/03/2009 :j0 -
Buffet = Pizza
Replacement Pizza offered = Pizza

she is a waitress not a sales woman, she wasn't trying to sell anything and it would have made no difference to her or her wage if the op had ordered 500 pizzas or had the buffet. She made a simple mistake and offered to have a pizza made, what more could she have done? Ease up people!0 -
!!!!!!, the OP said they went for a buffet coz they wanted something quick and easy, and when Pizza hut offered them this choice, you don't question that they're just suddenly gonna stop serving buffet food when they still have people that paid for a buffet.
Not everyone likes complaining there and then, coz some people find it embarassing, and it increases the risk of getting your food spat on! It's a buffet... you wait til it arrives, then eat it, and wait til Pizza hut bring some more out... you shouldn't have to ask!
The OP was right to refuse the pizza they were offered, as it wasn't suitable compensation. The waitress, no matter how busy, should have only charged for the food, or gone and got the manger.
Thunderplex, write that letter and make sure you get vouchers for a free buffet for your whole family!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

did you read the same thread as the rest of us? he was offered a pizza not a pizza to takeaway. Y'know, stay sitting down and eat it there in the restaurant... or have you never been to Pizza Hut??0 -
Pizza hut is just awful.
Could you not just eat a sandwich? Or light healthy salad option?
You're lucky that the buffet was cleared. You could of eaten a healthy nutrious salad. Your family would of thanked you for it.0
