Kwik Fit should be renamed we want to make a Kwik Buck. They left me stranded 240 miles from home yesterday at 5.30pm. The woman answering my call kept putting me on hold to go and talk to a supervisor who was just as useless as she was. When I was with the RAC , yes it's more expensive but they don't let you down like this bunch of clowns. Yes I'm very angry, however when you buy a UK Recovery Plus policy from then you strangely enough expect to be recovered. Take my advice avoid this company otherwise you'll only find out how bad they are when you need them most. I expected to be recovered to my home but they stated the mileage was too far and it would be £700 in excess mileage fees to take the vehicle back home.0

If this is incorrect and your policy covers you for full recovery irrespective of distance then get your formal complaint in now.
They have up to 8 weeks to reply and if you are unhappy with the reply or they ignore you for the 8 weeks you can then escalate to the fos for their adjudication at no cost to you.0 -

I had a breakdown this last year and they came within an hour: the only hitch was they had to take the car to a carpark and then meet someone there who did the repair. When I checked the next day I found the repair fee was expensive in comparison with others, but as it was a Sunday they would not have been available that day. Something to watch for ...0
