it's for a loan with them, apparently if youy get irrate enough with them and demand to speak to a manager the manager has the authority to have you transerferred to a priority spreadsheet which (apparently) gets you your cheque within 14 days of being added to said list which I was added to on the 21st of september.
Hi Sam,
i have been dealing with 2 managagers since the 1st of sept and nothing has been mentioned about a spread sheet? they have already sent 2 cheques one for £25 and one for £35 for the inconvienence, sorry to dissapoint but i feel this is another stalling tactic from Lloyds, when is the intreset worked out until on your settlement figures?
Thanks Jody0 -
Success
Received a letter in the post from HSBC yesterday morning offering full & final settlement of just over £4200. Over the moon, I thought I might get about £2000 max.
Thanks to all the support on here, you really helped push me into doing it. All it took was 1 questionnaire and a bit of patience.

Hi Welsh,
firstly hope your mother op goes well,
yeah i agree they are full of rubbish at Lloyds and i even got them to admit it yesterday, i have now been sent a total of £60.00 for my inconvienence and had my complaint put to a higher level, doubt any thing will happen, i was orginally told i would have my oney by 29th of sept(today and nothing in bank) then the 13th of oct now it will be mid to end of november??? i dont think they know wat they are doing
Thanks Jody0 -
Hi everyone,
following advice posted on the site and this forum, I decided to chase Lloyds TSB for mis-sold PPI on my Credit Card that I have had since 1999. I also took out a graduate loan at the same time and I was convinced I was making payments on that too. When speaking to one of their advisers, I was told that this was not the case, but I decided to raise the complaint anyway.
A few months later, I have received two letters advising me that I will be getting payments back totalling £3000! I was only expecting about £800 back!
Thanks for all the help and advice guys, a bit of perseverance and justice prevails!
I still have an outstanding claim with MBNA which they have rejected for me having no insurance. But I have statements which clearly show 'MBNA Accident Insurance'. This will be chased to the very end!
Thanks again.

Has anyone had any luck with reclaiming on MBNA loans ? Ive had success with their credit cards but have put in 2 claim for MBNA loans as well.
Also does anyone know the adress for Tesco Bank for PPU claims ?
thanks0 -
Not realising just how often this thread would be updated I set it to "instant e-mail notify".
Big mistake! While it is interesting to read about other people's experiences, I'm now getting too many e-mails!
Anybody know how to turn notification off please?0 -

Might be worth a try asking next time you ring up they may offer to you,my interest is worked out upto the 5th of October, have they said when you will be receiving your final settlement?0 -
Hi, I'm sure someone will check them over for you soon, well done :T & Congratulations.
BUMP
Well I think I may be in with a chance of winning.
I received a letter yesterday, sixteen weeks after my original complaint stating that they are unable to respond directly on a case-by-case basis however, on this occasion they are prepared to uphold my complaint.
They go on to state that the offer £1771.42 will effectively return the premiums I've paid.
The breakdown of how the offer was calculated shows
Total amount of Insurance charged £1018.15
Contractual Interest £753.26
8% Statutory Interest £0.01
The CC account has been running since the 1990's and I have a Certificate of Insurance dated May 2003 increasing the PPI monthly cost to 75 pence per £100 outstanding balance.
Statements for March 2005 and June 2006 show outstanding balances of £3249 and £4400 with respective premiums of £23.89 and £34.16.
The Without Prejudice Offer letter does not give any detail as to how they have arrived at the figures or the period they cover nor any contact details other than a prepaid envelope. It does not state it is their final offer only that I may refer it to the FOS if disatisfied and that the offer will be withdrawn six weeks from the date of the letter.
I look forward to the experts thoughts and recommendations as I feel pretty certain that the amount offered is likely to have been understated0 -
Hi louloubelle80 Are you sure these figures are correct? As Mrs Impatient said after working out your total repayments "she nearly fell off her seat" the figure is staggering !!!!!
Hi Dilus, yes they are more than correct! That is why I want to understand what my entitlement will be. Was in a very bad place when I took this loan and am using evey means possible to get rid!0
