hi all well done to all recent winners,i had my offer from rbs on the 4th of july, promptly sent my acceptace"registered post of course"which they received on the 8th july, still waiting for the money to be debited into my account,i have phoned them every other day and have had 5-6 different excuses, the last lady who u i spoke promptly told "YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PATIENT" damn rude if you ask me,i have since emailed the ceo every day since monday as yet to no avail, does this mean they will have to pay more interest if so does any one know how much.

    cheers.

Markos, what were you're reasons for mis-sell of the ppi?
Basicaly,I never received any face to face advice as it was all done by post, and none of the benefits or otherwise were explained to me,neither were any alternatives.I receive full pay for 6 months if off sock so it may have been unsuitable for me.

  • So when moving house 2 months ago, I found some old loan paperwork for EGG for a loan I had in 2001/2002...

Following the advice on this site, I wrote a letter saying I was mis-sold the PPI and wished to reclaim it..

They wrote back about 3 weeks later to get further clarity on my home address 10 years ago, which I sent them..

Today, 4 weeks later, have just arrived home to a cheque for £1029.. NEVER thought it would be that easy, and cost only 2 stamps and some old photocopied paperwork - especially as I thought as it was over 6 years it would probably be thrown out as a claim..

Trust me - it really is that easy! Yippeeee....:j

For a claim that was put in October 2010 and offer letter sent in July 2011 with an acceptance form that I sent back and was received on the 2nd of August:

My running loan from 4 consolidations has been adjusted at day 13 and I have a credit of over 5000. I am wondering what they are doing and will ring them on Monday. I was meant to have been paid plus or minus 13000. Happy all the same:j!!

    Well done and Congratulations!
