To request this information you need to use the Data Protection Act and
"Subject Access Request Notice" SARN. You should find a template on the site somewhere. It will cost you £10.

    Barclays DP Compliance
    The Data Protection Team
    Radbroke Hall
    Knutsford
    Cheshire
    WA16 9EU

    A&L
    Carlton Park
    Narborough
    Leicester
    LE19 0AL
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.

  • Can anyone help?

I took out an Egg card online about 10 years ago and I don't remember being asked about PPI but I was given it anyway and as I was working I thought it was best to have insurance.
A few years or so later I was rushed into hospital and nearly died.
I was off work with a life changing chronic incurable illness and then I was made redundant as my condition was unlikly to change.
The PPI paid off the balance of my Egg Card and I did not use the card for a year or two but then I needed money so I went online to order a new card which I expected would be declined but it came without question in the post a few days later.

I am now paying PPI even though I m not working. :wall:

Egg must have records showing my last balance was paid off by the PPI and they do not have any new employment status for me.

Is that not miss selling me PPI?

I shall be cancelling the PPI today
but do I have a case to get all the payments back?

    Thanks all

    PPI on pension contributions?!

Just found out I have been paying a premium to cover my monthly contributions to a private pension scheme. Didn't know anything about it. When I questioned the person on the phone she said it wasn't compulsary, so how did I end up having it without even knowing?

Is this the same as the PPI on loans and CCards and can I do anything about it?
I've been paying about 10 years.

I have posted it here instead cos i know a few of you have been following this case with interest!

Guess what.... how long have i been waiting to write this!!!!!

Just had a call back from the head of complaints and he has overturned the decision and is gonna refund my policies!!!!

Not sure of exact figures as yet, but anything is better than the sod off they first offered me!!

Its gonna be £3400 hopefully plus the interest as it was top loaded and the interest @ 8 % from 1998!!!

If anyone can give me a rough idea that would be great...

Guys, I have argued and tried every trick in the book with this, and finally, the good man at LTSB ( and he was lovely ) has agreed as a matter of good will. My faith is a little restored...

Yahoo.... if wales win the rugby tomorrow it will be the best weekend of my life so far!!!

Thanks everyone for you support, I wouldnt have kept going with out
