If you send your name and address to : BARCLAYS

Ask for a subject access request under the Data Protection Act.
They should send you enough details to get you started.
Hope this helps.

threats of litigation is the only thing that lenders really react to. FLA, FSA, FOS, they are all the same. The only thing that guarantees a reasonable result is to be able to threaten court action. It galvanizes them. However, you really do need to know what you are doing or find the ethical professional.
It's the last bit which would worry me the most......knowing the right things to say and do if I had to go to court.0 -
I understand but it is actually this very fact that has allowed lenders to get away with daylight robbery for years.
That is why it is vital for borrowers with difficulties with lenders to have a service provider available who can offer a legal service to gain redress at no cost and no risk.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -
Hello
I am currently trying to reclaim my PPI on a previous Pinnacle loan which was taken out via Click Finance Ltd. I have written two letters and got a response today to say that 'Click' have investigated it and it turns out that my loan was taken out via Click finance Ltd, which has now gone into Liquidation.
I term 'passing the buck' springs to mind! Why didn't they tell me this when they wrote back to me in February?! - Anyway, my question is, where do I go from here? please help. I am willing to fight this til the end as I WAS misold PPI insurance.0 -
I posted this on Saturday but nobody has replied (unless my eyes deceive me) Would somebody be willing to offer some advice?
Sorry to post the same again but I would like to try and get my letter sent asap and don't want to make a simple error when requesting my money!
Thanks again!
Once you have this information you know where and what you need to claim

There is ABSOLUTLY nothing to be afraid of. Help is here (and other forums) if you need it. There is no need what so ever to take your business to a no win no fee company who will take a large chunk of YOUR money.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Hi again delboy just had another thought that might help you : get your credit report all three as one of them has the account numbers of loans credit cards etc cant remember which one though.
It`ll only cost you £2 for each one so well worth it

If I remember rightly I took one loan out with them, then extended it in the future. Then wetn with another loan company later on in the future to pay this one off. Is it still worth claiming?0 -
also took out a loan with alliance and leicester then later on extended the loan and borrowed more money. I had ppi on both of these loans at the time, then paid it off early say about 4-5 months early. Is this going to be to complicated to do again?
Also dfs is it worth sending them a letter?0
