do you have any evidence from say a student loan, or your entry fees to university - perhaps you ring / write to the college and ask them for a copy of details of your entry and length of course etc

Hi - thank you for your reply!! :-)

I have all my information from uni which i will send but it doesn't prove that i wasn't also working 16hrs a week as well. I figured if i did have a part time job say working 8 hrs a week i could have shown these wage slips as proof but i don't even have this!

    hi
i am new to this after only occuring bank charges once they stopped it. initially my husband didnt want to do this but i made him and it turns out from the calculator on here that we could potentially walk a way with £9000. we have 3 ppis we used to pay that we know about one from capital one and 2 bank loans.
so the letters are going of as soon as we work out what we are owed and fingers crossed it goes our way.
does anyone have any experiance with claiming from capital one? we had a snotty (on their behalf) phonecall with them today and they said send the letter and we will look into it. sounded promising though as they have already been fined.
our grounds for misselling are that it was added without us knowing and husband is in the RAF so hes never going to be out of work. are these ok?
    thanks
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed

    Hi,

You pay 79p in every £100 for every month that you have a balance on the card. So if you had £10000 on the card then you would be paying £79 for every month that you had that much on the card.

For example: If your balance on the card was approx £10000 for 10 months, then you would be paying approx £79 x 10 = £790 over these 10 months.

For each month that you had a balance on the card. Add up the different ppi amounts based on this formula and you will get a grand total.
This is what you can reclaim.

    Hope this helps.

Rubbish, they'll still have the records. They are trying to put you off.

    Need a little help here....
I'm going to be reclaiming some money back from my bank and credit cards/store cards but i am worried that they will close the accounts when i do. can they do this? I'm worried because i cannot afford to pay of the remainder on any of these accounts.

    I'm claiming from:
Evans store card/GE Money ppi approx £100
Capital One credit card ppi approx £110
HSBC credit card charges approx £20
HSBC credit card ppi approx £520
HSBC loan ppi approx £2558 (if i calculated right)

Has anyone had any of there accounts with these company's closed or can they not do this ?

    Thanks in advance ;)
