It is very said when starving people in the world are given the help they need as sterile seeds. What on earth happened to allow it to get to this point is beyond me. :(

Patented seeds, patented genes we will all belong to someone if it isn't stopped.

The organic community garden we belong to tries to save as many seeds as it can for future generations. Garden organic/Henry Doubleday is an organisation that promotes this too and some are available to buy. Tiny steps towards the future. :)

Intellectual property rights are my area of specialisation. Patents have a novelty requirement and also have a limited life span. Once the life span has run its course the patent will become free for all to use.

I worry about your shopping choices... I mean, no gaffer tape, bleach or bin bags, really?

I have been soo busy the last few weeks, have no idea what is glitching and not got time to go anyway, have I missed much.

Think I have lost my mojo anyway :(

This weekend I am busy with the wedding and then the following weekend I have RACE FOR LIFE which I cant wait to do, such a fab cause.

Tinyshoes, glad you enjoyed your party, and your dress looked fab.

I hope you are going to post up a link to your fundraising page ;) I know you usually do it with a group of others.

Someone else that I've sponsored before is doing it because I've sponsored them before and I got an email from just giving about it. But I have no idea who it is :o

And if you are a farmer not using there suicide seeds. along comes a bee and pollinates your crop

You can then be prosecuted for trademark infringement.
And go out of business trying to cover the legal costs.

This is happening to farmers on a regular basis

You can't - trade mark rights do not extend to the seed themselves .... the name of the seed yes, the shapes of the seeds at a push, the logo put on the packaging yes, but not to the seeds themselves.

If you want a wallpaper like effect there are stencil rollers you can get. I first saw them on The Great Interior Design Challenge. If you don't have a steady eye can always mask off a line to follow. Not sure where you can buy them (written in a note book somewhere). Sure easy or pining erect would have details.

I am also excited. Put a holding deposit on a new build house yesterday. Due to be ready in September. Gives me time to deal clutter here first:rotfl:
Will be back on the property ladder again but more importantly will have much more security.
    Thanks to my wonderful Dad:A

    Oh that is fantastic!! :j:j
I know just how much after finding myself in such a fortunate position thanks to my Dad :A

And it's something we can pay forward by hopefully leaving our own kids in a better position ;) I'm thankful every single day for having a hard working and very astute Dad. So pleased for you.
