Thanks for this again:T:T. Not sure :o:o(:rotfl:) about those Onions though - I know: I shouldn't be saying this:o but you all know what I'm like and don't mean any disrespect:cool: - but 1Kg at 59p?(_pale_:rotfl::rotfl:) My guide used to be 50p on 1Kg of onions but we had 29p at Lidl recently. I think you posted that as well, so great spot!:T:T Just not sure about the onions now for that reason:cool: - unless them being "Red" makes all the difference!:wall::rotfl:

:think:Doubtless, in one sense, a way more expensive way but... if they count as an item required and give several pounds on the overall shop back then, in that sense, may be 'cheaper'.

I've decided to change my way of shopping a little. No longer getting 8 items and getting 10% off everything but now sometimes just buying a couple of items straight, even if paying 'full price' (i.e. losing 10%). At the moment, I think with lack of usable glitches for me, vs T of all places that usually has many, and sorry I don't use Sharwood's cooking sauces, I would otherwise be spending more than £6 on 8 'normal' items (I'm not bothering on 10p fillers as their cost is more than the 10% off the essential, necessary-to-life items I need) and getting just 50p or so back:(. So, I may as well just buy a few items, at non-10% off price, rather than buying more as 10% amount is so low (a fact I am sure A is well well aware of, as they are mainly same price as elsewhere). What I need, on an essentials shop, to get 8 and then 10% is some glitch items that give entire cost back. Unless I have those, it's not worth buying more items - even the 10ps (x4:eek: as only have 4 essentials to buy) would cost more than the 10% off the others. I've therefore decided it's 'better' to pay full price and lose a few pence on each item, as I can't make up 8 items, and items may be paid for by wombles anyway - therefore, surely, another womble at a later stage would cover the 10% lost.

It's also because there is so little at really good prices at T, S or W at the moment, or even M - everything is way too expensive "Savvy buys"! I don't need to be spending and comparing against £1 prices on branded items when I can save more by sticking to cheap SP items - and it rather defeats the point to add a non-10p filler item that is just spending more as adding 90p (10% off £1) to the bill!

Can anyone get on a .com?

Well, yes. In the sense that I can see the site - I just went onto there to check the Bombay gin as didn't trust the picture on msm and something I noticed - 24 pack crisps on price lock!:eek::eek:Way expensive "locked" price! £3.85:eek: and 2 for £5:eek::eek: - my guide on 24 pack crisps says £2, so, yet again, they really have my price perception totally wrong! Who on earth pays that much for crisps or thinks that price is good? Probably most of the population:rotfl:. Clearly. So, I'd avoid expensive price lock crisps!:rotfl::p:eek:(to their pricing) and :rotfl:. Prices locked... at a price that, for me, is way too high and expensive. (Not what they what me to think:rotfl::rotfl:. But - I'm a free-thinker!:j:j:D:rotfl:)

    Them
    "Prices locked and low"
    Me
    "Prices locked way too high"

    Them
    "Everyday low price"
    Me
    "Everyday high price"

They won't like that - me defeating the whole aim of the marketing - the whole aim of EDLP (everyday low pricing) is that customers are supposed to think that the prices are low (and also that they aren't often better elsewhere). When someone starts to think the prices that are being described as "low" are high, that's the whole aim behind the EDLP approach defeated! And, if people generally began to think that, then the entire strategy would be completely doomed.
