Just how often are Ts cheaper? That's something that I also suspect Mr A doesn't want you/me to think, although they also have the PG which, as we all know, is a marketing tool then to say "but if we aren't 10% cheaper, you'll get the difference...".

2 x Coca Cola Zero (8x330ml)£5.00£5.00
Comparison total (compared products only)£12.29£12.00
Here, it's due to an expensive mbuy (they don't want us to be thinking that) on Hula Hoops that, elsewhere, or even maybe at A sometimes, go down to £1 and sub-£1 prices. As, indeed, T are currently £1 (no good:rotfl:).
Almost needless to say (obviously it wasn't, as I'm saying it!), the mbuy on Coca Cola is quite an expensive price IMO too. One that many people regularly pay:rotfl: but, then, if they didn't, the whole marketing strategy of the supermarkets would be kaput and none of them could ever make any profit.
This shop wasn't 10% cheaper than anywhere of the rival 4! Btw, the Part Baked Petit Pains are a no-compare vs M, despite being 49p per pack in M:
2 x ASDA Part Baked Petits Pains (6)£1.00N/A
So much for being guaranteed!
Indeed, there was, today, some - in my view unnecessary - confusion on this. My first M store had the label describing them as "White Rolls 6 pack", even though the only White Rolls nearby were a 4 pack - they may well also be 49p - and the Part Baked Petit Pains, the only product behind the label, were the only 6 pack in sight. I concluded it probably referred to the Petit Pains - really I ought to be left 100% clear and pricing ought to be clear in stores without having to do further enquiry on the matter - that, indeed, to me is the whole aim of consumer protection legislation - but I thought, even though I was 99% sure through my (unacceptable having to) "reading between the lines", I'd better double-check at the other M store. The second M store, which I clearly need on a few items, managed to have it perfectly clear with no problem. It had a clear offer label of 49p on M Part Baked Petit Pains 6 - valid until 24th May. Had several same offer labels across the shelf, so totally clear. No excuse therefore, in my view, as to why the first store couldn't be the same!0 -

We had a lovely day at Beamish Open Air Museum today, sun was shining for most of the time. There is so much more there now since my last visit in 1984 :rotfl: :rotfl: Well worth a visit if you are in the area (Co Durham) and your ticket gives you unlimited access for 12 months :money:
