No real surprise there - what is it picking up btw? (£19.99?)
I thought, with SELs being unchanged in my store, despite big promotional signage up, it might not work - and see my lack of confidence over the Bombay gin just now.
Meanwhile, you know I don't like 97p prices:(:rotfl:. I gather the Radoxes may be off - but, fwiw now, I'll just mention that I have what I would describe as 'disarray' in my Morries over their pricing. Some have 87p and some £1 - and it's different ones in different stores (I have "87p" ones showing £1 in the other store and "£1" ones showing 87p there). Perhaps they were going to change the price upwards (increasing it up to the £1, that's the "everyday low price" btw:rotfl:) but had a change of mind and kept it to 24 May.
Also I have one store that says £3.29 on the Simple wipes in the main aisle, even though the offer is supposed to be on until 24th May, and only has stock with half prices showing on the aisle end. Similar situation (in more than one store this time) on the McVities Medleys - still, supposedly, on offer of £1 - and I'm not clear which ones are that as I have only some of them having offer labels around the stores, yet the stock in the main aisle section has consistent £1.79 SELs (that's the place they will take for the APG I think).
As for the Radoxes, you'd have thought they'd have been more careful not to want to give the game away! I think that even casual shoppers, although not the most casual of shoppers, would notice, because they are on the same section of the same aisle, that there are some with 87p red offer label on them and some with "everyday low price" £1. It does rather tell people there that the 87p price is better than the supposed "low" price!:rotfl:
I think very more people will be caught by the McVities Chocolate Digestives though:rotfl:. Smaller packs at £1.46:eek: at eye-level, whilst, at least in my stores, I have the bigger 500g packs at £1.14 offer on the very bottom shelf. I can imagine many people just reaching straight ahead, for the "small" pack, and not noticing the much bigger packs, at cheaper outright pricing, down below. Especially if, by habit, they 'always' go for the 332g ones* and don't think to check around on every single shopping visit (as is always the requirement when using any supermarket)!
[*EDIT: 300g now:eek::(, according to msm - seemingly yet another downsize on this product:(:( - that would be twice it has gone down in weight recently if correct - I don't know - I have no idea - I don't look at small packs, instead I have my head looking right down, avoiding eye contact:D, and only noticing the much better value ones on the bottom shelf - and even then they work out much more expensive than other own brand biscuits anyway:rotfl:.]0 -

I have not seen that red cross for ages.

Oh what a shame:(. They have Sugar Ring Doughnuts 5 in A (at 65p:eek::eek:) but the Sugar Ring Doughnuts in M are 6 at 47p. Doughnuts are a surefire way of spending money on something you don't really need anyway. Should I remove the Custard and Raspberry Jam
doughnuts from the list given that they are only 5?
Whoopsies, Savvy, whoopsies!!:D:)
This 47p has been on since last week but - maybe I did have them on Monday - maybe I checked them, didn't get round to - maybe I knew they were already only 5 pack in A? - but, perhaps, only just getting to checking them now - and ruling them out in any event:rotfl:.0 -
