I got back from Florida 3 weeks ago. We only had one day in Disney, but it was wonderful. We had a fantastic time. We have been lots of times before and done all the parks so we just went for the food and sun this time. You can't beat a day at MK though.

I know we are all going to MK for the fireworks. Neither of us "do" rides but I'm learning that there's more to the parks than that :)

You would have to empty it out a lot. It only stores a small amount of dust. If you don't have pets and don't wear outdoor shoes in the house I'm sure it will be fine. I have the DC35 but there is a more expensive version that is probably better if you use it for your main vacuum. I think it's the Animal version. I'm happy with mine though.

Yes, its fantastic, just like the advert, well recommended. i dont even mind using it!

    PS. its the DC59

Thanks both of you :) I'm looking at the V6 animal which I think is just the newer version of the DC59. Unfortunately it's OOS at T direct at the moment but I have a stock alert on it so hopefully it will come in today so I can get the extra £20 off (I know it's unlikely but I can hope :rotfl:)

  • Good Morning Elite,

How I have missed you so!

Turns out running two businesses while working full time and some... whilst also moving house can mean that RL really does take over.

Anyway long story short OH and I handed in our notices at work on the same day in order to try and achieve a more long term sustainable way life. Quitting your jobs aged 22 & 23 having just purchased a house is scary to say the least.

I at least hope that by doing so I'll finally have time to do things within the Elite, womble and finally have a social life.

I want to also take this time to thank everyone who voted for me, I managed to go down to Virgin head office on merit which was pretty cool, whether or not ill pursue their offer of assisting me with the new business venture is something else - long story short there's a lot of terms and conditions and boxes to tick.

On a side note while I remember back in December (when I had a life with spare time) I entered a few competitions having never won one EVER I was chuffed to receive an email two weeks ago to say I'd won a copy of the Hobbit collection on BluRay + 3D. Unfortunately however it's not to my taste :(

Anyway, enough about me I'm off to scroll back and find out what you guys have been up to.

    Have a lovely day!

dippydoo the first one they sent out was an error as they were all the same, I complained and got a second one the next day and used it online and it was fine. Re check your MD account and then email them and they should send a replacement

good morning all hope the elite are well. xx

what an awful day. its trashing down and has been all night , so glad we managed to plant the potato field over the weekend such fun:o me and ds2 sitting on the plough dropping hundreds of potatos through a tube while oh was driving the tractor, very bumpy and nearly fell of so many times :rotfl::rotfl:

Yay, I was thinking I was too late planting the potatoes yesterday, but if you're just doing it then I feel safe. You have a field just for potatoes? That's so cool

We forgot our watering can but needn't have worried as everything's getting a good watering today :T. Still half potatoes left to plant but will wait for a dry day :)
