Thanks :) I'll have a look at them

Thanks :) I live alone so it probably wouldn't get too much use, do you think it would cope with a weekly run through of four rooms?

You would have to empty it out a lot. It only stores a small amount of dust. If you don't have pets and don't wear outdoor shoes in the house I'm sure it will be fine. I have the DC35 but there is a more expensive version that is probably better if you use it for your main vacuum. I think it's the Animal version. I'm happy with mine though.

Florida...We love it but havent been near a theme park in many years although we go at least every other year to florida...

Plenty of good places to go,....kennedy space center is about the closest we get to touristy...but there are some lovely places round that area for seafood...
Have a look at the amway center in orlando to see whats on basketball or ice hockey can be very good or even a concert
Winter park is just a lovely place for a wander around and theres a lovely little boat trip you can go in to see the big houses...

de leon springs has the most wonderful cook your own pancakes in the sugar mill....its a recreation park and quite nice to get away from the hustle and bustle on a nature trail.
daytona has a lovely beach area

What sort of thing do you want to do...and how far do you want to travel???
some lovely shopping malls dotted around orlando with discount outlets too.

winter haven has a really old american type diner....Andy's...been in the same family for years its not posh or flashy but its where the real american eat and great for people watching and ice cream!...they have a facebook page too.

Thank you! ive added it to my look at list :):A

I think MG is still in denial that we are going :rotfl::rotfl: neither of us was in a fit state to discuss it properly yesterday, but we will in the next few days

We were originally going for a week, and we pretty much had that week planned. Then it turned out that it was only a couple of hundred quid extra to stay for a fortnight so now we have to readjust the plans again

3 of his grandkids are going so there is no way that we will be able to completely avoid Disney :o:rotfl:

I got back from Florida 3 weeks ago. We only had one day in Disney, but it was wonderful. We had a fantastic time. We have been lots of times before and done all the parks so we just went for the food and sun this time. You can't beat a day at MK though.

A fellow sufferer here, hope you get it sorted as my back is shot and they also said an op would be of little benefit....my wrists are really bent now due to the arthritis, its agony.
I have recently found I have an underactive thyroid (hromones) and the meds have helped but the joint pain is still just as bad if not worse :( my friend says its becaust they are only treating part of the thyroid problem and not looking at the whole thing. She has researched and eventually got her appointment to an endrocrinologist so hope it helps you...chin up xxxxx
p.s I'm in my early fifities.

Dont know why this is so bold ..sorry x

Can I just say thanks to you both for these posts today.

oh has been having problems with shoulder for a while, also pins and needles and numbness in hands. Hearing you both mention symptoms and causes has made me think and just wanted to say thank you both. For some other reasons I have thought thyroid but this has made me think.

Carpal tunnel was ruled out by 1st Dr, inflammation elsewhere was supposedly the cause, then that was dismissed by 2nd Dr and another cause suggested, physio had drs note (who ruled out ct) saying carpal tunnel so its been a bit of a farse, physio gave a wrist splint but that's now caused/coincided with increased shoulder pain. Oh putting off going back but your posts have made me think and obviously not diagnosing from that but very helpful to get thinking and encourage oh to go back.

Yet again never fails to amaze me how much help on here, in more ways than one, and this is why I like so be around.
