I'm sorry to hear that - but if you've been there 6 years and earn at least £112 a week you are entitled to it so it's not an option not to pay it.

Is there a union rep you could have a chat with?

in situations where I feel out of control I find taking proactive actions helps me feel better - it could be worth starting a diary of any times you are bullied, note down date, time and full name/job title of the person. Store any emails/letters/texts as appropriate. In the future you may be in a position to take action and these will help.

Unfortunately discrimination is very common (I've missed out on pay rises and promotions I should have got) but you are stronger than them. Xx

Thankyou I know its awful :( I am currently seeking legal advice regarding a different issue the first trimester I had hyperemiss grevardrum and was signed off... Returned to work and received a formal investigation and disciplinary! I'm with a union and had a rep accompany me to the meeting and also accompanying me to the grievance meeting I have with them on the 22nd xx

My employer turned into employer from hell when I told them I was pregnant, I was signed off at 5weeks gone and never returned.

I took them to tribunal, long hard struggle but I eventually (over 2 yrs later) I took an out of court settlement.
