Do I have to sell to some one with only 8 feedback mostly negative?
They haven't yet paid and I just know this is not going to go well
In the big wide world I don't have to sell anything to anyone if I don't want to so eBay policy should reflect this

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

Their negatives will be as a seller, not a buyer
But, no you don't. You don't HAVE to sell to anyone on ebay. You can cancel the sale, but you will get a defect.
Why not adjust your settings to block buyers who don't meet certain criteria?0 -

You can cancel the sale and not only will you get a defect but the buyer can still leave you feedback.
You can't block a buyer because they leave lots of negatives either.
You can report the buyer to Ebay - use the report button - and if you do get a negative you could try to appeal.
Ebay is weighted towards the buyer not the seller!0 -

You can block a buyer for any reason you like. In fact, you don't even have to provide a reason.
And you can tailor your ebay settings so buyers who don't meet certain criteria are automatically blocked from buying / bidding on your items.0 -

You can't add them to bbl until it's too late and they have bought your item - unless you have a crystal ball.0 -
I think there's been crossed wires here. My first post was about using the ebay settings to block buyers that don't meet certain criteria.
You said you can't block bidders from having too many negatives, but you didn't mention blocking them after the sale.
Hope that made sense, sorry!0 -

But you can't block a buyer after they have clicked to buy and I can't block every buyer on ebay under 1000 positive feedback one at a time19lottie82 wrote: »And you can tailor your ebay settings so buyers who don't meet certain criteria are automatically blocked from buying / bidding on your items.
These settings are next to useless if you want to prexy yourself from robbers scammers and pigs you would rather not deal with
If they walked into my shop I could tell them to go shove it for obvious reasons but eBay don't seem to recogniserecognise this right it stillWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
Unfortunately you agreed to ebays T&Cs meaning that you agreed to sell to whoever wants to buy (bar a few exceptions).
As already explained you don't HAVE to sell to them but refusing (ie cancelling the sale) is breaking the contract that you agreed to.
Again, if buyers have negative feedback this is linked to their selling history, not buying.
Please can you expand on "robbers, scammers and pigs"? You sound a little paranoid if I'm honest! If you're that worried then perhaps ebay isn't the plce for you
If you don't mind me asking, What are you selling exactly?0 -
Here we go
Contacted the buyer and they said they are "going to pay tomorrow" (Friday)
That's come and gone and item still not paid
Its morally and legally wrong to make me deal with this (or any) jerk so why do eBay insist
Can I not just say the item is busted and cancelWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0
