Have you got space for 2 tourers with an OSB gantry between them? It'll give you significantly more room, if access is too tight for a static.

We did just this but had a larger caravan than yours, Built a small shed with a 1000ltr septic tank, drained to a hole full of rubble, not legal but worked well, now used for rain water storage.
Main problems were noise when raining on the roof, freezing water pipes, fill the kettle before going to bed, condensation on windows and inside always smells of cooking etc.
We didn't have an awning, we strung an ex army camouflage net over it in summer to keep it cool.
Connected it direct to mains water, used a pressure reducer. Connected to mains electric with an RCD protector.

A small wood burner might be a good idea (You might be able to convert an old oven into one if your oh has the skills/knowledgeable friends.

Portacabins tend to hold their value, so when you have finnished with it, you can sell it for what you paid for it.
