    Hi all

Bob I hope you fall in love with your business again soon.

I got some rough measurements for our flat today and... my wardrobes won't fit. They're about 1ft too tall (and then I have another 1ft spare on the ceiling right now!) so I can't make it work. It is Ikea PAX though so the plan at the moment is to buy the smaller frames, then strip the innards out of mine as really that's the expensive bit; the frames are only £35 for a single and £55 for a double - I reckon 2 and 1 respectively would work nicely. We don't need to buy new doors immediately.

    * sat here drinking coffee I made at home rather than a Starbucks, and will have free coffee at work
    * got a packed lunch for the day
    * later plan to tidy up my cleaning cupboard to see what I've got so I don't purchase for things I already have
... And if I'm feeling brave, the baking cupboard!

My day has been pretty cool! Nice packed lunch, had my eye test today and due to work healthcare voucher, test and new prescription glasses are completely free.

Was aiming for a no spend day but walked a friend to the bus after dinner (cooked at my house from some Lidl bargains!) and had a browse round Tesco right by...bought a couple of yellow sticker items which wrecked the no spend but which I will use over the next few days. Mango and pineapple fruit pack down to 30p (not sure original price), pomegranate 30p (originally £1.50) - both ready for a smoothie in the morning, and also got a Finest cottage pie for 72p which I've frozen for either Friday or Saturday (normally it is in a two for £6 deal I believe).

After my success in Tesco I saw on my receipt that I have 494 clubcard points - 6 points off a fiver!! So went on the clubcard website to see when the statement runs to and if I'll get the extra points. The bad news - clubcard date is tomorrow and there's no way I will accumulate 6 points in the next 24 hours. The great news - I found on the website that I have £6 worth of clubcard vouchers on my account which were just waiting to be printed off and spent!! :j

Hope everyone has had a great day :)

Ally love the comment about trying to take less food :rotfl: I think there's nothing worst than being hungry in work! I know I've nearly ate my arm off a couple of times. They only way around taking in less food is taking more starchy/filling things

I keep emergency cereal bars in my desk at work in case I don't pack enough food. Nothing worse than stomach rumbling in the afternoon!

On the Tesco receipt there's usually "How did we do?" I think you get 25 points for completing that, so you could smash it! :rotfl:

Got lots done today, a few jobs rolling over but there ones a nice a little help with.

Dd1 school shut tomorrow for the vote. I asked their dad if his mum could have them or go half with childcare. I think there be a underlying issue there as she hasn't had her since the spilt, but don't know what. He's taking the day of work to have both of them (properly planing a day out or somthing) one way it's annoying as I still have to pay for dd2 childcare but on the other hand it saves me £32 in extra childcare and the packed Lunch. Was surprised by his decision but more time with family is always good.

Just doing the last lot of ironing for the night. Feeling good about getting lots done. Hoping for a sunny day soon so I can get some more jobs done in the garden

    Night all

You are a legend! I've done the survey, not sure if they will credit the points to my account in time but cool either way!

When you say print off and spend do you mean spend on your shopping? Have you looking into doubling them up of swapping them for deals?
