Andrewbro, it all adds up!
Bob, Hope things pick up today, its really wet and wild here, if its like that where you are maybe its people staying home hibernating?? Great news about the chq though.Following :money: to keep us debt free :j0 -
Hannah my death cuboard is simple a kitchen cuboard full of so much junk your at risk of dying when you open it up to get a pan:rotfl:
All sorted now, rearranged into other places and a bag for charity shop! Been putting it off for ages but didn't take as long as I thought it would!Debt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
Bagpuss - that is sad. So sorry. Can they treat her?
Hannah - it's been fine apart from a few heavy showers. And thanks too. Overall when I go through and look at each area we are working on its a tick. To show progress. So I need to be more positive.
I hate to say it out loud but I think I'm just out of love with my business. When I started I was so confident and happy with my choice but after 3 years of being dragged along by the fortunes of fate, I'm kind of over it. Where that leaves me I don't know...." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Bob, you keep finding so much roadkill! That's awesome. I miss scoping for pennies.
It's definitely easier to make money when you're in a city as opposed to out in the sticks. I'm really missing city life, so I think it's the right move for me. I'll have to watch the spending if I end up with shops left, right and centre.0 -
Also!
I posted a FOY code for GiftHulk on my blog but it hasn't been used yet. So I'm passing it on for some of you to use.

Hi everyone, hoping business is better for you this afternoon Bobarella. Excuse my ignorance but what sort of shop do you have?
Still poorly, fed up with it. I am supposed to be doing my voluntary job tomorrow afternoon but if you are ill you are expected to ring round and find someone to cover for you and I really cant be bothered. Hoping I will be better by then.
On the plus side not leaving the house means not spending! Have just put the breadmaker on for some bread rolls to have with homemade burgers for tea. OH has managed to get to work too, despite the weather but I dont think he will be working all day.0 -
Afternoon all
Babysitting today, so just popping on while she is asleep
Sorry to hear about your Nan Bagpuss, hope she will be ok xx
Good luck with your plans to move Ollie
Bob, sorry work isn't going well atm. You do sound enthusiastic about it still when you have a busy day, but things do change over time, and new directions beckon. I lose count of the times that has happened to me over the years. I have always found that, as one door closes, another opens though. I know that is a cliche, but it has been true in my experienceWhat are your plans for when the baby comes along?
Anyway, quick list or baby will be awake again:
Done (not much)-
Checked banks
Washing out on line (though it has been rained on at least twice - bloomin weather )
Dog and chickens fed and sorted out
Played with baby
Still to do:
No spending - I only have baby's stroller (not her big pushchair with the hood and rain cover) so no walk today I don't thinkI will miss out walk, and going to the park, but at least I won't be tempted to buy anything.
Think of some activities to do with 17 month old - sand tray in front garden (we have gravel out there, and she likes mixing it with the sand :rotfl:) or helping me indoors with the washing up - this takes hours and we both get very wet!
Leftover bolognese for supper tonight, which I might convert to either lasagne or chilli, not sure yet!
Plant out sweet peas this evening if it isn't pouring down with rain.
Right, I think someone is stirring .....0 -

We have a hospital appt. next week to discuss everything as she is being referred to different doctors. The problem is that my nan is so weak we are worried she won't be strong enough for any treatment. Also her memory isn't good so she is forgetting everything the doctors have told her. We have a family rota so she never is with the doctor alone.

Thank you everyone for your kind words:A
it is so awful for the elderly having to have serious medical intervention. My gran had a stroke last year and fortunately recovered but it took months. Your family sound like they are rallying around for her which I'm glad to hear.
YORKSHIRE - oops cap lock went a bit mad there. I have a cafe. Sorry I forget not everyone has been here 6 million years being bored by my ramblingssorry you are not well today.
Dawn -Thanks for that bit of perspective. It's nice to hear that you think so. I think after all the stress and worry I'm in need of a break before I try and get my head back in the game. But of course that isn't possible. Today actually has picked up now. So excuse the whining.
I think the baby will be joining the babies of soap land at this rate. Forgotten about until the next plot line demands :rotfl: I honestly don't know. I can't see myself affording full time cover by then. And now I know for sure that I can't let the place out because I am stuck with my inflexible current insurers...I don't like to say it but I think I will close up for a short while. And then try and figure it out from there. Somewhat different from last time round with lovely long paid mat leave to look forward to.
Have fun with DGD x" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
