Wow, I really am getting a bit neglectful of my diary!! It's been ages!!


I've had a busy few weeks at work, and as that is when I usually do my updating and monitoring my spreadsheets I've got a bit behind. I'm still on board but not had any spare funds the last few weeks to overpay with so other than going for the odd look at my balances not much movement. Payday is almost here again so I will be making some more payments this weekend and getting into the 36's, woo hoo Doesn't seem like much of a drop yet but actually it was end of April when I started and only June now so not bad. Also it wasn't long ago that we are at 42k so it's a reasonable drop. I'm really looking forward to getting into the 20's. That's my first goal!!


My birthday coming up next week and a night out July 18th but apart from that no plans to spend a great deal. We have our holiday in August so trying to be good and we've started putting money side for spending money. Looking forward to a nice break


Hope everybody is well. I shall try and update regularly again, need to get this focus back and shift a few more k!!

I'm having a frustrating day!! I'm waiting not very patiently to find out whether my pay review has been approved by HR. It's been dragging on for months now and they were supposed to have decided Friday and then didn't. Then they were discussing Monday and today I've been told they are discussing some details. Aarrrrggghhhhh!!!!! I just wanna know if my role is changing and whether I'll be getting more money!!!!! lol I've been working hard for it and I have no idea how much extra it would be, I hope I'm not going to be disappointed. I am hoping for at least 3k but if it's less I'm going to be a bit gutted. I've been imagining all kinds of scenario's since I knew they were reviewing it. Fingers crossed I get some info today, they must be sick of me asking them by now, haha xx

Fingers crossed! A pay rise would be fab! What's taking them so long? My place hasn't done pay reviews since 2012!

They're just really crap, lol. Apparently initially they refused outright so they've been arguing backwards and forwards for a while. My boss has been chasing it. Its not like an annual pay review, it's just a one off really because of the work I've been doing. It's like moving roles but not, haha.

So update on the payrise, I've been told today it's actually got past HR (which was doubtful) and they have submitted the new figure for approval (just a signing process) So I know I'm definitely getting something but they won't tell me yet what the figure is incase there is an issue with it being signed off and I end up getting less than they have requested.


I wish they'd bloody hurry up, lol!!!
