Here, all you Doubting Thomas's who think there are plenty of jobs on Wirral - read THIS, and assimilate it: http://jmu-journalism.org.uk/wirral-second-worst-in-uk-for-jobs/0

What are you doing to market your writing skills? You think that 2 years is not a lot of time to start earning an income, but it is. How many businesses do you think took so long to get going when all you could get to become self-employed was a band loan if you could convince your bank manager?
You might believe in yourself and that is your right, but do you have a plan B? Are you claiming tax credits? If so, you know that you won't be able to continue to do so getting money from tax payers to support an activity which so far is nothing more than you avoiding to be on JSA?
Look at it this way? It might be a few months before it hits you, so why not start applying for jobs now? It might be tough, lots of competition, but assuming your CV is what you claim, with time and perseverence, you are bound to have one employer see from it what a value you would be to them.0 -

Sorry, I have to agree with this! I start my writing business in April 2014, and I make a lot more than £190 (your average monthly income) in a WEEK! It's been hard work, but I've put the effort into marketing myself to get where I am now.
It's obviously not a viable business for you.0 -
No but they are in the minority.
Anyone who classes indeed as a good jobs site showing true numbers of availa posts has a screw loose. Its full of agencies gleaning for contacts without posts being available and duplicate screen scraped posts.
It wasn't me who referred to indeed, but even if not all the jobs on there are legitimate, it gives an indication of prospects in the area, of which there are many.
Your suggestion that the number of people in Merseyside that work are in a minority is utter nonsense. I can only assume you don't understand the meaning of the word?0
