Updated my phone calendar, need to put all invigilating on yet but cricket matches are on.

Pancake batter made for DS3 but I'm having my shower before cooking them.

Final ever assignment for my degree to start, birthday cake for eldest to make, trip out to vote so a busy week and youngest off school 2 days so only get basics done so feels a short week with lots to do.

Washer is on so I'll get dressed then empty dishwasher and make a coffee then write a list

Thanks bossy for stepping in with the thread, and dusty for previous work, any anyone else that has kept it going.

I feel like I have a bit more energy today after a lazy one yesterday. So, going to do the usual daily stuff, plus definitely finish painting stairs (I hope this isn't going to end up a never ending, keep putting off type job) plus see how much of the list I can do, especially the built in brews.

Only thing is I've promised the kids I'll take them swimming which always take HOURS. Oh and walk/jog doggy.

Morning all, not been up long must be because I'm home alone, nice and quiet.
DD1 & boyfriend will be here soon to do the drilling. Won't be doing any floors til they're done. They'll also be going in the attic for me, putting stuff up and getting the wallpaper steamer down. I need to replace some paper in the front room.
I plan to do lots of d.i.y jobs today and fly as I go. Just hope I have the energy. Think I may have a cold coming

Today is going to be a mix'n'match day - in other words, will try and get as much done off the list as possible, but have also got ironing, paperwork, knitting and crochetting to do, plus milk to get so I can enjoy my cuppas and lots more besides. Got a day's worth of internet usage so hopefully will be back later.

Hi everyone

I am up, showered and dressed and feeling a bit better, although have definitely got some sort of bug. Have decided to make today a day for tackling something I dont want to do - so I am blitzing the office.

I have just pulled out my desk - and I am ashamed at how dusty, dirty and cobwebby it is behind there!!! Have hoovered and will give the floor a scrub once I have had my brew.

Question of the day is - why have I kept so many old padded envelopes? 4 of different sizes kept, the rest binned.

My shed is empty! Stuff all over the garden though... And not an awful lot to get rid of. But I can rehome some items to better places even if only temporarily.

I have tables and chairs out on the top patio - DS is dusting them down with a hand brush :A
Disposable bbqs are under the hood of the gas bbq, the bag of wood is hiding in the chiminea and we found DH's old bike. Tyres flat and 4yrs of dust on it :eek: we're going to hose it down later and put it on FB.

I have heaps of chairs and a gazebo. I had thought to have a party as its a big birthday of mine this summer - also found a camping table I'd forgot we had.

Anyway, just having a coffee and willing the clouds to roll on by!

DD is not happy that we've said she can't go out today so is packing her things. She says she's going out anyway and we can't stop her! DS has gone out with his friends and we are staying in.

I've still got 1 worksurface left to do in the kitchen and 1 set of cupboards so I may do them.
