Go on live chat in the my sky section and simply ask them to better the deal you were offered.

Be nice and polite. Tell them you'd like to see if they can tempt you to remain with sky before you switch, tell them you weren't tempted by the offer made to you on the phone and you're hoping they can do better.

They'll usually start with 25%. Politely decline. They will then offer 35% at this point I usually say oh well thanks but I'll just leave it to cancel, I appreciate your help today etc. without fail they'll say hold on and offer 50% or there abouts off.

I've usually gotten 60% off doing this when I was with sky.
