Whats the score with WBAC now then?

wbac , different setup , never owned by carcraft , sold to BCA 2013

seems like a management buyout at carcraft sunk them within 12 mths

"In April 2014, a management buyout was led by current Chief Executive Robin Bridge, and was backed by Apollo Ventures, for an undisclosed sum."

Wasn't obvious to me. But I should have remembered that 'would' and 'wouldn't', 'should' and 'shouldn't' and 'could' and 'couldn't' seem to have become interchangeable in the 'that'll do', 'it's obvious, 'you know what I mean' world we seem to live in now when it comes to written English.

You sure about that? Or is it just the skeptic in me that thinks you did and was just looking for an excuse to vent your frustration when people don't meet your standards!

And if that's not the case, maybe after you've finished correctly peoples spelling you can do a course in 'context', that way you'll understand whole sentences as well as whole words. ;)

Yes, I'm perfectly sure about that thanks. Reading the thread quickly, it's very easy to misunderstand a post.

Context? Thank you for introducing me to the word. Maybe if you're going to teach me English, you'd like to start by explaining the difference between 'correctly' and 'correcting'? ;)

Your position isn't clear to me; first complaining about my 'frustration when people don't meet' (my) 'standards', then leading into the lesson in 'context'.

    Oh, the irony.

Way to go , you've just well and truly proven my point :rotfl:

Funny how you talk about about reading a thread too quickly, thus misunderstanding what's being said, following a rant about people falling victim to auto correct due to "laziness".

First off, you shouldn't take things so seriously. I even included 'wink' and 'beer drinking' smileys in my previous post, just so you could tell it was posted with tongue-in-cheek intentions.

I didn't say 'too quickly. I simply said 'quickly', and there's never been any ranting, either.

I read quickly, that's not laziness, it's efficiency. If people are careful with what they type, skim-reading allows one to more rapidly assimilate the information presented. Obviously it's not going to work when a word is completely correct in use and the sentence in which it's used makes sense, as in this case, as it's easy to misinterpret the information as presented.

Anyway, I didn't set out to have an argument about this. I'm entirely happy to continue it if you really want to, but I'm going on holiday in half an hour.

    yes , http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/carcraft-closure-former-ceo-robin-9160990

Robin Bridge, who left the firm just eight weeks after leading a management buy-out last year, insisted he was turning around the company’s fortunes until his sudden departure in September.

Mr Bridge, who had been with the Rochdale-based firm for 17 years, resigned as chief executive just eight weeks after leading a management buy-out of the firm.
He said disagreements about strategy with two other directors who had brought on board by the owners led to his departure.
He was succeeded as chief executive by Colin Houlihan

and the significance of your posting is?

its on wiki , that car craft had a management buyout in 2014 , not a hidden fact
