Just withdrew £20 from inboxpounds, says cheque will be posted on tuesday :D
  • What long lists, Aesop:eek:. Not sure if joining the smartphone world is going to work for me:rotfl:. Looks very complicated:o

Just back from my tabletop sale. Not too bad considering the weather is so nice here, people have things they want to do/go to outdoors when the sun shines. Started early (8.30) so maybe the buyers called in for a browse as they were heading off. Went very quiet after about 10.30 anyway:(

Managed to sell £39-worth of clutter (after fees) so I'm happy with that. More shed-rummaging awaits now to replenish car for tomorrow morning's car boot sale where I can take a lot more stuff and bigger items as well. Have a half set of left-handed golf clubs in a golf bag that someone left by the bins at my local village auction last year with a 'please take ' sign. Lots of other nice things left there too but I left them for other people. Not sure about value of the golf stuff, might leave them for another day and ask someone's advice as to value. Can't be much if they were throwing them out:eek:

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Happy money-making:beer:

carbootcrazy - you don't need a lot of the apps I have installed :D

some are for competitions, I am a comper, so they help me out with things and run comps like blippar, instagram, budweiser, twitter, hootsuite, etc

some are just stuff i do, and don't expect everyone to install, but people ask what I do, so there you go.

DS has broken my tablet, the port where you install the charger, he is very heavy handed and I have said to him before if it doesn't go in the charger, don't force it, turn it around and try the other way. He has been forcing the charger in and now the charger case has pushed in and we can't get it out :/

I use my tablet to run swagbucks apps :/

what you will need is swagbucks apps, onepulse, and the shopping apps. And maybe when you are confident, clicandwalk and roamler as they are paying apps too.

streetspotr is an app like mystery shopping, where they send you missions that are near you for payment. They recently had supermarkets on for £5.

well done on your tabletop sale.

I have been ill this morning so desperately trying to catch up with MS reports that are overdue now :( and now need to rush out to EE shop to see if they will repair tablet under first year guarantee :/
  • Good afternoon all

So after scouring the internet for further inspiration I noticed that in USA, Staples have a scheme whereby you get store credit for returning empty cartridges. I asked the UK page on FB if they have a similar scheme and this is what they said:

Hi Staples, I have a question. In America you offer store credit in exchange for used ink cartridges, do you have a similar scheme here? Thank you :)

Staples UK Hi Princess, yes if you take empty cartridges to a store they will give you discount on new inks bought in store. ^ED

So if you have empties that you can't get cash for (Some website are picky!) keep 'em for Staples :D

No money-making to report unfortunately, been busy with DD and next eBay item ends in 3 days!

Have yet to check on MD but was planning to save until the boost on Monday anyway so will have a look then. Hope everyone here got theirs sorted :D

 wow Aesop! That is a LOT of apps :rotfl:

Oh no little Aesop  If you've enough CC points maybe you could get a cheap hudl on Monday with boost? Hope they'll repair for you x

    Well done earners :T

    Happy earning all x

yes I think I mentioned last month I was buying a cartridge for printer and they gave me £1 off my purchase, reminds me she messed up my points, need to sort that out quickly. Also they have an offer in store where they price match the cartridges. If you can find cheaper online and can prove it, or another store locally, again you have to prove it, they will price match AND give you £1 for your old cartridges. It's not bad considering some places pay pittance in points for cartridges, although always price check before taking to staples. They have shut my local  and the nearest one isn't worth the journey. I felt sorry for the staff as they didn't know if they were losing their jobs or being reallocated.

They seem to be sending out the correct vouchers now as people are checking on line and the correct value is there. yes the mobiles are supposed to be in the boost but no idea which ones.

I have very little tesco points as don't shop at tesco much or buy from esso as petrol is more expensive than sainsburys...:rotfl: am just hoping that EE repair under guarantee otherwise no bayblades for DS.

yes I have a lot of apps which is why my phone doesn't stay charged long, lol. But then it works in my favour for the money I make from them :D

Yes, I realised I don't need all the ones you mentioned:rotfl: but you seem to be so successful in making money with them that I want them. Also,I'm a comper too. Phone is still in box for now, need plenty of uninterrupted time to get it sorted:o

Have found all the 'tat' that I plan to take tomorrow. That shed is a spiders' paradise:eek:. Now for a nice hot shower:j

Have volunteered to be the chauffeur this evening for some local friends who are going to a big black-tie event at a swish venue not far from here. I'm not an invited guest so will drop them off and then go back to collect them when they phone me at the end. Am using OH's 'new' car (he unwillingly agreed:rotfl:) as mine is chockfull of carboot stuff. With their money (loaded) I don't know why they didn't hire a real taxi but they always pay me well for my time and petrol (their decision not mine, I don't have a pre-agreed tariff:rotfl:)

Hope it's not a really late one as I've to be up at 4.15 tomorrow morning for the car boot sale. have to be on site by 5.15:eek:.

hahaah we will sort something out, I am a good teacher :D

I think they ask you rather than a taxi firm as they know and trust you.

good luck with tomorrow's car boot, I am off shortly to EE shop to see what they say.
  • I'm back

Good luck for tonight carbootcrazy, another boost to the pot :T

Hope EE sort you out Aesop :)
