I'm doing quite well from random stuff that I never thought would sell - there's a thread somewhere called 'things you thought wouldn't sell on eBay' that inspired me. Stuff I thought would do well eg unworn hush puppies shoes have hardly made me any profit!

thanks for the reminder, I was going to post a link to this thread. It is quite an interesting read if you are ever bored or want something new to read.

the thread is called, Things you thought you could never sell

£100 paypal from SBs. First time I have done this as I usually cash out with £5 amazon vouchers as I know they are better value. It took me 63 days to get to 17999 so well chuffed.
Well done everyone. Some great moneymaking this month. Keep up the good work.

£10 voucher claimed from shop and scan. It is one of those you can use at venues like legoland, thorpe park, etc. DS wants to go legoland again and I have vouchers - adult goes free with a paying child. We did this last year and paid just pennies as I had vouchers towards the entry fee.

So I might buy one adult ticket on line as can get 40% discount, and then on the day buy my DS' ticket with £15 vouchers, which is all I have at the moment towards it and I go in free. Still :money:

better than paying £139.80 on the day or £104.85 in advance bookings.

Although they have an offer on for a family of 3 for £97.86.

This way I pay £28.80 for DS, and £28.80 for Daddy. So total £57.96 for a family of 3 :D :money:

Aesop I don't normally go anywhere near as online gambling doesn't interest me but I thought it was worth a go as I'd be up £30 (TCB) before any winnings, that'll teach me :rotfl:

Afternoon all, walking through town today i saw a sign outside a shop saying "help yourself" and below it was a handful of coat hangers(something i actually need for the bootsale i'm doing Sunday) Anyway to cut a long story short i went in and asked if i could have them, there was only about 20 and they said sure would you like some more? i ended up with a box of 200 FREE coat hangers as apparently as their a business it costs money for them to be taken away!

Sit's say to say i'll be keeping what i need and bootsaling the rest 10 for 50p :0

Just taking a break from rummaging in the depths of the shed:eek:. No opening windows, it's really hot in there:(

Rushed to Argos by opening time this morning and am now the proud owner of the smartphone that Aesop linked to. Used vouchers so didn't have to spend much 'real' money:j. Haven't had time so far to do more than just take it out of the box and check it wasn't damaged. Will have a little play when I've got the 2 planned tabletop and car boot sales out of the way tomorrow and Sunday and possibly listed more things on eBay. I like my auctions to end Sunday evening but as next Sunday is a Bank Holiday I'm not sure if there will be many potential last-minute bidders then. Might leave it for another week. Any excuse.....:o.

Congratulations to all you money-makers:T. Have a great weekend:beer:
