    Seriously demoralised.... Was meant to go to a work conference in London yesterday but couldn't as I was unwell, but cos I cancelled the hotel at the last min they've still charged me the £130 for it :-( And can't claim back from work as it was an optional thing. So even if I do reach my target this month all it will do is cancel that out...

    sorry to hear that esbm - can you call hotel and ask if you can reschedule your booking seeing as you were ill and could not attend and still have to pay for it? then sell it onto someone who needs to stay in London? worth asking and worth trying, I think it is worth appealing to their better nature.

    Aesop - hope they don't charge you too much for the repair !!

    WOO -HOO Just had mail saying I won £5 on the weekly Geolotto :T

    well done! nice one! :T:beer::money:

    so do I! I have a feeling it is going to be silly money. luckily I have apps on my kindle so am running of that at the moment. but will see if any local computer shops can do the repair for cheaper. not bothered about warranty as expires next month.

    Definitely worth a try even if they have already said no. I work at a hotel as a manager so can be far more lenient than othe members of staff. If people are nice and friendly I bend over backwards so give it a whirl

    I've done a bit pants every sales I was expecting to do well haven't sold.
    I bought a salad from boots that wasn't sealed properly it ruined my top and I had to sit on the train for 3 hrs covered in beetroot. Not happy! Boots did give me 500 points which was better than nothing but top cost £20. Fortunately my husband is awesome and somehow top is clean so £5 up.
    Also £23 eBay sale so slowly getting there.
    Saved money as upgrading sons phone for free so can sell his old one. Also othe sons new glasses were £60 but today found a better pair for £14. Also got walking boots for £25 I expected to spend £45 on. Can't count any of these things but chuffed to be thinking mse again :money::money:
    Well done everyone else and hugs to people having hard times, lastly hi to newbies.
