As a bonus on a trip to the dump yesterday i saw a rubble sack FULL of in box, great condition 'corgi' and 'days gone' collectable model vehicles, someone was just throwing them away, even if i got £1 each for them i thin there is 35 in the bag and they would sell straight away.

it's amazing what people throw away at the dump.

What a fabulous haul of saleable stuff. I hope you'll make a nice wad of money from them. Well done you:j:T:beer:

I definitely agree that it's amazing what other people throw away at the dump:eek: and I'm green with envy that you were able to take stuff away from yours. At ours there are massive signs everywhere warning of fines and worse if anyone dares to remove anything:mad:. Even on a slack day there are attendants watching your every move, plus CCTV everywhere. Not worth taking the risk.

I once took a box of non-saleable/donatable-worthy books to dump and saw the book skip was full of really good books. The guy in charge wouldn't even let me take one in exchange for a boxful I was leaving in exchange. Jobsworth:mad::mad:. OH once took a carful of stuff to the dump and saw someone dumping a great-condition staging-table thingy for a greenhouse. He asked her if he could have it and the attendant said any 'deals' had to be made off the dump premises:rotfl:. So the pair of them had to drive out into the road where the table was transferred into OH's car. He then had to go back in to dump the rest of his stuff. You couldn't make it up could you?

Hi all, Wow everyone is doing so well.

I'm just starting to fathom out geolotto and v8juice. Started hitting my target each day on sb so hoping to cashout in 2 days.
Didn't realise I could add supermarket savings here, but I'm thinking if I take money saved and put it straight into savings pot, It counts. So £9.59 in price reductions and multibuy savings.
Also £5.62 from checkoutsmart which has been approved (but not sure how to withdraw. . . oops!)
Yesterday I counted up my change jar (which OH has been putting silver into) £70 to bank! Can I count this here?

  • OH's carboot was a waste of time yesterday having made £140 last week, he made a meagre £19 - still I guess something is better than nothing!

see these kind of things worry me about a carboot. the fact people steal from you, I would be on my own, other carbooters want to see what you are selling before you get it out, and not making enough to cover pitch hire :(

    well done Azzzaa and mmharko.

amazing the stuff people throw away but then some cannot be bothered with freecycle, freegle, selling etc.
  • Good morning all

Atm I'm using SB, GH, instagc, pinecone, TCB, Superpoints, Geolotto, eBay, FB, Gumtree, Try Me Frees, coupons (Although I don't count them on here as I really want to push myself) & comping :D hth x

I've also sold bits to Cex but that's few and far between!

Well done everyone on their earns :T:j

Well done on your haul Azzzaa :T

Such a shame about your dump carbootcrazy :( would be much better for the environment if they'd let people take away things they might need or use. Wish I had one near me! The nearest I've got is a space downstairs where people leave things and they disappear within minutes! Never had anything myself but my DD's old car seat found a new home very quickly from there! :rotfl:

Finally got a bid on one of my eBay items, ending in 2 days so nothing to add to sig yet! :rotfl:

    SB: 1/60
    GH: 0/850

Still have eBay bits to list and haven't even started on those books I dug out days ago! :rotfl:

Good luck and happy earning all x

am about to cash out on apptrailers, but have to wait to see how much on conversion.
