It advised me to leave the facts of what happened, which is what I did, so can't see how they have any grounds to give me a slap!

A seller cannot be negative in any way, so that's why feedback needs to be very well worded.

Buyers are allowed to be negative but sellers aren't? I am starting to dislike that site more and more by the second.

Buyers can be whatever they like. Sellers cannot.

I've just had this happen to me.

My eBay buyer bought over the weekend and opted for free economy postage (3-5 working days), then managed to "escalate the dispute to a claim" on Paypal that I hadn't even heard of yet, as there was no dispute on eBay. Paypal did the payment reversal. I have responded to Paypal and await to hear. I have proof & delivery was the day after the buyer put in his Paypal claim. It may or may not be relevant that the buyer's eBay score is 1, so perhaps unfamiliar with eBay.
