No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries May 2015

3 UU's today and one GA
20) body shop shea body butter. It's alright but wnba even if its on sale as I've used other items that are better and cost a fraction of the price. It's decent on my actual body but not on my hands. Will buy a proper hand cream after I get into my Aveeno bottles.
21) Urban Decay 24/7 VELVET Glide-On Eye Pencil in Plushie- Nice colour but nothing special. I won't be buying any of their eye pencils as I've not heard anything good about them and this was kinda hard (prefer my rimmel scandal eyes). I've only had it a few months and I thought it would be soft as it costs more. But wrong. It scratched my eye the last time I used it and I've got slight irritation plus the pigmentation isn't good.
22) Chit Chat Cheek Tint- I'm kinda upset about this one because half way through the bottle I started to love it even more. Its definitely a dupe for Benefits cheek and Lip tint called Benetint (£24.50) except the chit chat one is only £1. I'm not sure where can I get Chit Chat products from as they're not a Poundland exclusive brand so only come in sometimes. I'm surely going to try the other dupe for the benefit highlighter. The cheek tint is so easily blend-able with your fingers and lasts all day giving a nice rosy tint to the cheeks which can be built up. Only thing that bothers me is near to the end(when the product is about to be finished), because the bottles are like nail varnish bottles the tip doesn't hit the bottom to get the product. I had to tip a little onto some cotton wool and then use it. I wish they had made a smaller bottle at first as this one took me ages to finish (Has an expiry of 24 months but managed to use it up in 18 months) but honestly I don't mind now it smells heavenly!
GA was a set of Bourjois eyelashes to a friend whose never tried them.
I find also that body lotions don't work on my hands. As mentioned above my hands are too sensitive. Speaking of Shea butter though I lit a Yankee Candle Shea Butter candle yesterday and it smells gorgeous. Have lit it today already.
I don't use kohl eyeliners any more because I never found one that was not scratchy.
Love the sound of the benetint dupe. Sadly we don't have a Poundland near work.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Painted my nails with Maybelline Forever Strong Pro - 130 Rose Poudre. Lovely colour. I think I will make an effort to UU this.
Painted my nails yesterday but need to redo my right hand. Scratched at my foot before the top coat dried. Am wearing Sephora by OPI Sample Sale. Only a mini and I think there's only enough lacquer left to redo then I'll throw it out. Have a few similar Reds.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Sephora Mud Mask sample - liked this. It says it's a mattifying mask so I was a bit apprehensive about using this as I have very dry skin but luckily it didn't leave my skin feeling drier than usual. Sephora's own brand isn't easy to find in the UK so I probably WNB. I still have one more sample of this in the stash.
Neutrogena Grapefruit Daily Face Scrub 150ml - my skin has been very flaky after using a peel mask last wednesday. This did a really good job of getting rid of the dead skin on my cheeks. WMBA. I have another in the stash but I'd quite like to try some different scrubs.
Simple Face Wipes 25 pack - I have a terrible habit of using these to 'remove' makeup after a long day so I'm trying to wean myself off using wipes, WPNBA. Only one more pack of wipes in the stash!
I used the Liz Earle Brightening mask on Saturday and Sunday. Have not used this product for years however am really impressed as it's left my skin really soft even the line of dry skin along my left jawline. I never used to like the smell of this product.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. OK now caught up I have another UU to declare
philosophy homemade pumpkin pie shower gel. I poured the last of it into my bath yesterday. My right hip/glut has been aching like mad for the last week and I added to it by doing a workout on Saturday. sadly I think it's due to my weight so I need to workout. Am going to join local WW on Thursday too as it really is time to tackle it. Anyone else on the WW plan?
Anyway back OT love this product and have another in stash although that one is pumpkin icing. Not going to open it yet as I have a L'Occitane Shea mousse open which smells sweet.
Have a gr8 day all. I have seen that there's a Molton brown TSV today which is thankfully chock full of shower gels. Don't need any. Now had it contained hand lotion I could have been swayed.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. This colour and Maybelline Nude Rose are two of my absolute favourites.
I have a couple of uu's
Abahna White Grapefruit & May Chang Bath Gel 35ml - this was very nice, I have no idea where this brand can be bought from but probably would not go out of my way to hunt this down anyway.
Aromatherapy Associates De Stress Mind Bath Oil - 10ml. I have loads more of these little oils in the stash so no need to buy yet.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I don't use kohl eyeliners any more because I never found one that was not scratchy.
I'm no eyeliner expert but i've got a Soap and Glory smoulder kohl pencil and it's fab. Not scratchy, goes on really soft and smooth and is perfect for smoky eye. It's £5.
Just in case that helps anyone...0 -
Morning all, what a lovely morning:)
A couple of UU here Timotei Vivid Colour Conditioner and Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off Face Mask and IN Lush oatifix face mask. I also need shampoo and conditioner now I'm onto my last bottles.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Thanks VALM I find it the same with body butters on my feet too...theyre initially moisturising but after a bit I have to reapply.
2 more UU's today
23- MUA Eyebrow Pencil - I have a back up for this so I'll be using that one.
24-Sue Moxley's Famous I'm Your Curl Flirtatious Lashes Mascara- Glad I've used this up. wnba as it made my eyes very sensitive and my eyelashes feel 'crunchy'. I really don't like the formula of these mascaras and I've noticed my eyes aren't dry or irritated when I don't use it.0 -
I have some more uu's
Pixi Lip Blush in Youth - this came in a LIB box and I have binned it. There is no colour there and it is almost dry even though it is new (and only recently came in a box), it would have been pretty if it had worked but I find all these felt pen applicators dry up straight away and the tips fuzz up too. WNBA
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light 30ml - I have concentrated on just using this foundation instead of chopping and changing and feel very satisfied to get one out of the stash. WMBA it wears fantastically and goes on beautifully with fingers over a silicone type primer but the Estee Lauder colours are not the best and I find this a bit orangy.
Body Shop Cammomile Eye Make up Remover 200ml - I used to love this and then they changed the formula, it still works but it is a liquid rather than a gel now and I went through it super quick, worst of all it smells of fermenting yeast. WNBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Chit chat is made by poundland so you won't find it elsewhere ( I think) xNo buying toiletries challenge
