I hit pan on my huge tub of Righteous Butter yesterday and like you still have loads left in the bottle of Foam Call that's on the go.I have two UU's today.
17. A dark brown shimmery shade from my Make Up revolution Redemption Iconic 2 Palette. 4 shades down 8 to go.

Dr Weil for Origins toner - this was only a sample so couldn't tell if it helped. I'm still not convinced of the benefits of toner, they either seem to dry out my skin or make it more red.
Also on the dregs of my Lancome bi-facil but have already repurchased.
The best toner I've found and still use is Liz Earle Instant Boost Tonic. Doesn't feel astringent at all and dries quickly.Dazedandconfused wrote: »Clinique custom repair serum is amazing on my fine lines. I've lost some lines completely in less than a week. I got asked my age when buying alcohol the other day at the supermarket. I think it was more the think 25 than thinking I was 18 but still!!!
But then i saw the price of the Clinique and I can't afford that. Does anyone know of a similar product. I know no 7 protect and perfect doesn't work for me. It's really evened out my skin I was just wearing be cream and a bit of powder today and I was really impressed.
I got a mail shot from Clinique yesterday about their next GWP and the serum is in the kit together with moisture surge, take the day off, foaming cleanser, a chubby stick and nail colour. Usual qualification that you have to buy two items one of which has to be skincare. Offer runs from 29 May to 14 June.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Need to sort out which toiletries i'm packing for a week at DDs (decorating while the family is away - easier without young children around). A couple of items are close to using up and may not last the week, so I'm debating whether to take those and spares, or just the spares and then switch back when I get home. Currently favouring taking both as I'd love to be able to sign off a few more things this month......
I'd take them with you still to UU.Just found this thread. It's good to know i'm not alone!!
What's the procedure? Do you all make a list of stuff and decide what to use up first, then commit to do just that? Mine will be a VERY long list!
Welcome. Whatever works for you. Making a list at first worked for me as it made me aware of how much stuff I had. I now prefer putting together a list of items to target each month.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. The Boots Time Delay cleansing oil is gone, WDBA, I thought this was blimmin' lovely. More effective than the No7 version (which I have a stash of), less stinky than the L'Oreal version (which I also have a stash of
) , I got this for half price so ~£3 which is a bargain. Bear in mind the bottle does not have a pump, dropper or any of that shenanigans so I would recommend decanting into an appropriate container to avoid losing product down your plug'ole
The Stila foundation got finished on DD last night. Long since discontinued but WNBA even if I coukd, very easy to over apply and get cakeface. I much, much prefer MAC Studio Fix.
Speaking of DD, I drove all the way to Wales after a very busy work day to apply her prom face yesterday. She looked gorgeous, even if I do say so myselfPlease note, she didn't wear my dress in the end, a fickle 16YO?! Unheard of :rotfl: Here she is!
DH is booked in (last minute) for his third kidney op on WednesdayThis is proper surgery rather than telescopic so he'll be in for a few days and has been told he will need to stay off work for at least 3 weeks so I shall apologise in advance if I disappear.
xx
I used to use the Boots Time Delay as well but couldn't get it one time then discovered PCMC a and haven't looked back.
The Clinique foundation I'm using up for my 4 by 4 makes me feel cake face. Am hoping this will be finished this week. Still plugging away at the other products.
Your daughter looks lovely. Did she enjoy the prom? Is she looking forward to college? A whole new era. Hope your DH's surgery goes well. XBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. 1 UU...soap and glory hand food, I have deffo got more in stash.
1 IN, bought another of magazines with the free hand cream.
I'm using a tube of S&G Hand Dream which I thought was Hand Food revamped but is a more intensive hand cream. It is gorgeous and a lot nicer than Hand Food IMHO. Does tend to flake off though if you apply too much.I've never sniffed the L'Occitane almond range, on purpose, I always assumed it stank of marzipan which always makes me feel a bit green around the gills _pale_ TBH, I have never been all that wowed with any of their products, I was gifted 6 bars of their Lemon Verbena Shea soap and I only use it to wash my makeup brushesxx
The almond oil shower gel is a fave of MRMs that we take away with us. Other than that I do love L'Occitane liqid soap and hand creams because I'm prone to contact dermatitis and these products don't dry my skin out.
Have got the second drop of the last L'Occitane TSV on the way from which I'll save some items for my sister as they're the lavender shower gel and hand cream that she loves. I however don't specifically buy their shower gels because they're others that I prefer.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Does anyone else have to think a lot before they buy something? I honestly can't decide...maybe I should make a clothes inventory since the toiletries one really helps
I managed to get a cold this week and its been awful. Thanks guys for motivating me. This forum is awesome. :beer:Hope you feel better soon.
I was thinking couple of days ago that I need to do the same for my clothers & accessories as despite selling & giving away and not buying , my wardrobe is bursting with stuff still.
I also definitely think twice before buying something. I also taught myself (to some extent) to not go on "lunch time walks" that ends up in stores. Working in city center can be harmful.
Hope you soon get over your cold DreamyP.
Yes this challenge has made me think of products as a considered purchase. It's helped me to think about book buying as well as I used to have a tonne of books sitting unread whilst I kept buying more.
Asajj I too try not to go out at lunch at work. Don't work in a city centre any more but remember it was so tempting and I never had any money.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Sorry for the mammoth postings ladies! Do have a UU
Vidal Sassoon hair colour intense red. Feel human again.
Did have some INs yesterday in the form of 2 x packs of Garnier facial wipes. Need an extra cleanse to remove the liquid foundation and they were on offer at £1.50 each. Also bought a pack of cotton pads.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. FizzWhizz - hope your daughter had a good time, she looked very pretty and she looked her age which is nice to see. My daughter starts grammar school in September, I am thrilled she got a place but it is quite a long way to travel and I am very emotional already about her leaving primary school.
I hope your DH's op goes well.
I ordered a second Rituals box on 11 May and am still waiting for it, they are notoriously slow but it bothers me because I never receive any confirmation, despatch email or tracking so I've no idea what is going on with it.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I went to order the 2nd Ritual box yesterday and it was sold out - I regret it now!

Thanks VALM for the recommendation...sounds like a daft question but what does the toner do? Does it just take off extra make-up or make the skin better in any way? I've never really used toner so wouldn't know.
FizzWhizz hope your DH op goes ok...glad also your daughters prom went well too.
Went to my friends hen do yesterday. We did lingerie making...I had to sew which i've not done since I did textiles at school and hated it then too but in the end I was very proud of my creation!! I'll try to post a pic later in the week when i've got a bit more time.
We also did perfume making as well, got lots of top/middle/bottom note smells and had to make up your own perfume blend which you then got to take home. Really fun experiences both of them.
Then went out for a meal and a few drinkies in the evening.
Round 2 today, off to Centerparcs spa at 4pm for a few hours which will be lovely.
Then bank hol tomorrow so all round a fab weekend!
Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend :-)0
