Good afternoon, I am struggling to get motivated this week and it would be fair to say that so far I have not completed very much (struggling with intercostal muscle again). I am going to post my list for yesterday and today then hopefully this will give me the kick to get something done.

Manic Monday - Bathrooms and office/study type places.
Clear the clutter from all these rooms!!
Ring someone you love just to tell them so.. we never do this enough!
Wash any curtains/blinds/mats etc that need doing
    Vacuum the floors
Clean bath, toilets, shower and sinks
Wipe down the tiles and defragment the pc while doing this.
Declutter and dust the pc desk
Wipe away cup rings and sticky things
Wipe the keyboard, mouse, cables and sockets and suchlike.
    Clean the windows.
HHI..I really need to do this!!
    Clear a hotspot
Degunge around the bottoms of the taps!
    Wipe cupboards and polish mirrors!
Do a DIY task that you have been putting off since time began.
    Attend college

Spend 2 hours on course work
    Childcare runs
    Iron scout shirt for ds1
    Attend volunteer work at gardens
Make a shopping list and do the online shop

Spend an hour looking for work

Twinkling Tuesday- Master bedroom and Landing
    Strip and wash bedding!
    Clear some floordrobe
Clear landing floor.. or sort a hotspot out there!!
    Wash windows
    Vacuum floors
Sort out shoes and coats and bags! etc
    Binbag dance
    HHI
Mend 2 things from your 'mend it' pile!!
Reorder and tidy a chest of drawers.. if there is anything to get rid of.. DO IT!!
Wash and put away any winter coats you shouldn't need for the next 5 months!!
    Dust and deweb
Make sure those smoke alarms are working!!! (do not set fire to anything.. just press the button!!)
Go through your make up/nail varnish. Throw anything that has gone past it's shelf life or worse still has a life of it's own..

    Childcare runs
Spend 4 hours on course work
Catch up with the laundry (6 loads)
Check through Mr T order scan and put away
    Remember to take meds
Work out how much money is going out at the end of this week let dh know how it stands
    Check online banking
    HHI
    Catch up with the thread
    Write article for client
    Look into volunteer work

I think that is everything that I need to get working on for now. I will come back later and update my progress (hopefully I will have made some progress)

I hope Dot calms down soon, for both your sakes, pigpen.
MMM sorry to hear about your intercostal muscle problem - it's very uncomfortable, isn't it?

Managed to send 2 emails before going to SW and whilst writing the second realised that our charity AGM is only 6 weeks away and I have got to get a move on with publicity and paperwork  And I thought I was beginning to conquer the paperwork mountain :(

SW success: I've lost the pound I put on last week, and DH has lost the one he put on last week and another one as well :)
He won the raffle - all things we love, including a pineapple and a butternut squash :)
A new member brought her 4½-month twins with her, so I spent most of the hour rocking the pushchair :D

    Eyebrows have been neatened.

    Just decluttered a :coffee:
I must check my finances and then do lunch.

    See you later x
  • Hi - well done Iona and Iona's DH. I managed to lose 1.5 lb so now slightly under my target but still in range.

Went for a breakfast but had poached egg so not too naughty!

Waiting to go and look at cars this afternoon and get quote for a new boot strut - looks as if it could be expensive so we'll see.

Am knitting until it's time to go then will hit the packing!

May take laptop with us so I can keep up with you all - will be doing DS' cleaning on Friday so busy day. At least it's all on one level so no stairs once we're in!

Take care and have a good rest of the week. x

Dot deposited at nursery.. I refuse to pick her up.. if OH wants her he can get her and face the teachers telling him how awful she has been! I will just cry if they say a word to me.

Squeak has dance after school and the girls are at KH's

    2x WM
1 load on the line, I knew my empty baskets wouldn't last long. 2 loads folded ready to go away.

My kitchen is looking much better, a long way from tidy but it is better.. I can even SEE the third window!!

Pixie is now after pesting about.. she wants to sit on me and poke my face.. ain't happening smallfry!! She can go find something to play with...

Dot is warned if she is naughty once after school she is putting on her pjs and if she is naughty again she will go to bed.. even if she has not had dinner, she will go hungry. She barely ate breakfast has refused lunch so she may well be ravenous by tonight! She was given food and chose to not eat it, as we all know, you can't force them!

OH supposedly off to the gym again.. I'm threatening to take Pixie to my mothers to terrify her into obedience.. she hates dogs and my mother has 6 bouncy yappy things... I won't go, because while I am mean I'm probably not that mean!!

Returns made at the shops and orders collected.

    Quick food shop done

    Washing on the line

Just having a cuppa before a couple of hours at the paid stuff.

Hope Gov meeting tonight does not go on for too long as I want to finish sorting the stuff on the landing, it is messier than when I started (omlettes eggs and all that).

Piggers do you feel it is time to get a medical opinion on Dot or will that not help?

Its fair to say that I am surprised at how much I have manage to achieve in the past hour. Think I will put my feet up and do a couple of hours course work before I need to collect the kids and then I can do the last hour studying for the day after they go to bed. I will also do the mending and some ironing once the kids are in bed.

Dot *calming vibes* on their way, Pigpen, although I realise they'll probably just bounce off her. Healing vibes for intercostal muscles (?) for you MMM and lovely colours in the knitting Mrs MP.

WM x 5, breadmaker x 1, ice-making carrying on for next week's 'do' and sundeck tidied. All of my seedlings are refusing to grow big and strong because they think it's too cold and I agree.

OH has arranged to be busy and then away when the chalet needs to be readied for the first let of the season, so that'll be four years in a row I'll have done it on my own. Having said that he's been marvellous while I've been unhappy over the past couple of months so I can't whinge too much.

Lodger 1 in, Lodger 2 delayed in Dubai and Lodger 3 will no doubt cancel at the last minute tomorrow.

Dining room not being spring cleaned after all. I can't be a***ed.
    Better is good enough.

Just checking in so you don't worry about me.

Sorry, I'm not up to speed with everyone's news; life went rapidly downhill Saturday; someone rear-ended us and wrote off our car.

We're both ok, just v badly shaken up (I am currently reluctant to get into any motor vehicle).

Thank goodness we have dogs here - they're helping me stay sane!

    Back when I can.
