Finally getting a few minutes to log on and post my PAD of £40 to OH's cc. Had a fantastic weekend with England winning the 1st Test of the Ashes series and going to the pictures for the first time in ages - the nectar points offer at the moment is really good value so OH and I have been to two films this afternoon/evening, 4 tickets for the equivalent of £10 so can't argue with that.Every penny's a prisoner

We have been saving hard since becoming debt free but having got into DFW mindset it's a massive struggle for me to part with the money to buy things we have been saving for and really need. After holiday savings will be gone but we will start over and save up for the next things we need, then I will struggle again to part with those savings
Have a super day everyone

Och I know that feeling too well ttftm. Yeah 'elton john' (ratties name) got a new rattie mommy on I think? thursday? and is settling in well (and being quite bossy I hear LOL). My new lads get a new cage on thursday if courier comes but don't know if I'll be able to put it up whilst hand is so sore. Also been doing cleaning experiments with bicarb on Saturday - must buy more (asian store) when cash flow allows. I google how to clean a ceramic hob and it came up with it. Then it got scratched (after cleaning) - another you tube video and toothpaste and the scratch is gone:D (beats buying a sanding router LOL)
Have a good day

Sorry I went AWOL and thanks Time to Face The Music, Erme ( especially for the llama, ha ha), milky1991, sashanut and anyone else I missed out ( I'm terrible at following threads). Jet9cat - loved your words about managing money and not letting it manage us and so great to see how much debts people are clearing and money being saved.
Back to me 1.01 to my savings, fell of the band wagon little but I am back on track..I think!0 -

Bob, when you click on the quick reply and get the reply box up there is a line along the top with font and size number with drop down arrows by them. If you highlight your figure, then change the font size it should do the trick - I hope that makes sense.
Just sent the post and saw that it is in several different font sizes myself so maybe I'm not the best one to be dispensing advice, ha, ha!
No PAD from me today, waiting for a couple of more survey payouts to come through.Every penny's a prisoner
