Thank you all for your condolences - we are having her cremated so we will get her ashes back in a lovely box. We did this with another one of our cats who was very special so they will be able to sit together on the shelf.

OK....so plugged in new router (from phone & Broadband provider). still noise on the line
And now can't get wireless Canon MG (cheap) printer to connect with router and thus macbook
