£5 for me today please Bob

Welcome to the thread Ella. I'm not sure if all cc's are the same but I know plenty of people on here pay lots of small amounts throughout the month to their cards and don't seem to have any ill effects but I'm sure someone will be along soon with any advise, especially if they've come across a company that has a problem with it. In these days of online payments I don't think it make any difference as it's all processed by computer but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a bit of a silly paranoid question -

If I start paying whatever tiny bit of money I have to my CC each day through internet banking (maybe even 7p, or something), will that cause me any issues?

Will the CC company essentially get fed up with me causing extra work, and make them see me less favourably? I'm up to date with the minimums the majority of the time, but not always. They seem to be being quite calm about this, currently (I know the effect this will have on my credit rating - it is what it is.)

    Thanks!

My savings are a minimum of £1 (so no 50p pad for me :(). Shouldn't cause too much hassle. Just do it the cheapest way as I know when paying off my laptop years ago (with Hire purchase firm) - if I padded with debit card they charged - if I padded via bank transfer (took 2 days) they didn't. I think I only padded with the debit card once for it

My credit rating (ironically) is pants - purely because I don't use credit anymore. I don't care :rotfl:. I have what I need!

You can always do a 'test pad' and see how you get on. So long as you don't mind a mile long monthly statement you should be fine :A

PS. ella there simply are no sllly paranoid questions on here. So don't be embarassed - we were all where you are once and you have to start somewhere! I have a mantra - tis not going down (or getting into debt) that's the crime - but staying down (not having your light bulb moment).....so you are already on a winner!!!

    Hi and welcome Ellabelle :hello:
The banks won't care because it's all automated, you just get very long statements with lots of transactions :rotfl:

Have a super day everyone :)
