Ok - I missed something guys - like when did I get nominated pad leader?...I know I've been on here a while but others have been here longer. I just aim to try and keep this thread friendly and non judgemental as when you're down you don't want to get kicked again just because you put a welly boot on the wrong foot.

Oops - sorry! I thought you'd started it. I'm still newish, having only joined in the middle/end of last year. Anyway, I think you make a good leader :kisses3:

Glad the piano playing went well :j

  • Hi all,

I have been AWOL for way to long, got out of the habit of PADing last year.......I was fortunate to be able to pay off debts, so think it was revelling in that a little.

Anyway, don't ever want to be in the position of being in debt ever again, so back to good habits for me!!

My spare money is still pretty slim, so PADS will for the most part be small ones, and will be going into my money box for a rainy day.

So my first PAD for 2016 will be 50p please

Hello, bit busy here as in hospital with littlest who has a hernia in his groin :( so we are sitting ducks until they can operate, probably over the weekend.

Still managed to PAD though, and it's a rather nice £2000 :) £1000 to the car fund and £1000 to the house fund. There's more to PAD for debt, but it'll have to wait. Xx

Fab amount sunshine! Hope little one is ok and is more comfortable once they've operated. Nasty things, hernias!
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

There's about 3 or 4 things I want to use my £20 cash underspend for LOL....they aren't all going to happen LOL

So i emerge at crazy hour LOL and think - what can I safely pad?

Awe yes :money: a nice juicy £10

I have learnt the hard way folks. No point in padding (unless regular payment to service debt) when you get paid as you then end up in the red for 'little treats' or life gets a tad awful

Yesterday I had a choice of spendy spendy (so wanted spendy spendy) - £100 or £4 in charity shop. Both I didn't need - I chose the charity shop :T :D

So that's me and my wee pad :)

Have a good day - prayers for wee one sunshine
