Been getting peed off with all the wind and rain and getting wet every time I stick my nose out of the door, then come on here and see all Dizzy's woes and her positive attitude in dealing with it and like Erme said, sure puts things in perspective. So sorry for you Dizzy and hope things work out without too much hassle.

Meanwhile, managed £30 PAD to the EF today.

Right team - I'm back. Down but not out. Power rerouted from garage and house pumped out. Loss adjuster chap came yesterday and looks like 6 months to a year of alternative accommodation and a complete refurbishment. I am so glad of my platinum-plated house insurance! Absolutely everything covered. It's rather cold and my neighbours' CCTV footage has embarrassing footage of me wading thigh-high in just my knickers (boy was that cold) to save cars and I have some impressive bruises but we are alive and kicking!

Anyhow - November's total was a truly magnificent £18405.20. Party poppers all round team :T Sorry for the delay in announcing, but been a bit busy :(

I will be back to PAD later Sunshine :)

Oh Dizzy that made me laugh and cry at the same time! An so relieved everything is covered by insurance for you :T

What a fantastic total for November! Brilliant PADding everyone and thanks to Dizzy for being our super duper counter upper and to Sunshine for taking over the December baton :j:j:j

    Morning all!

Dizzy, sounds a bit more habitable for you :)

My PAD for today is £227.15 which officially takes me under the target I set for Christmas, without Decembers payments having gone to it yet - roll on payday so I can get even further under it!! :D
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

What an incredible total for November!! Well done everybody!!!

I wonder if the pressure of sending nice things to Santa will affect us this month, I'm not so sure as yesterday we managed to PAD an amazing £1887.35!! I want to know Sashanut's secret to getting all these amazing PADs! Special mentions to Erme and Dizzy Imp for making briliant PADs at a time when it's not always easy x

I was reading back and noted that we have a mix of people repaying debt and people saving. I wondered if the debt free people (or anyone in fact!) would care to share on piece of advice or thread or anything that helped them when their debt free date seemed so far away?

    Hi PADers

Today's PAD of £10 to THE DEBT makes it a round £100 extra paid this month so far. £200 including min payments.

Dizzy - so pleased to hear things are moving in the right direction.

Sunshine - I'm not out of debt but my personal bit of advice is that it's better to keep on even if you can only pay off a penny or save a penny. It is all going to add up. Someone put it better than me 'if you think you can, or think you can't, you're right' I. E believe in the power of the positive and you'll win. Believe in the negative and you'll lose. The mind is your most powerful tool.

    Happy weekend all.
