Good morning fellow PADders :hello:
My PAD today is £4 again to moneybox please Sunshine :T
So sorry to hear about the flood Dizzy Imp, it's something I hate to hear about as it's how I ended up as a DFW but ours was caused by a household leak. I hope you get sorted out quickly and without too much financial pain
Have a super day everyone

*catching the 7.20am dingy for the river crossing to join the PADders*...
Right team - I'm back. Down but not out. Power rerouted from garage and house pumped out. Loss adjuster chap came yesterday and looks like 6 months to a year of alternative accommodation and a complete refurbishment. I am so glad of my platinum-plated house insurance! Absolutely everything covered. It's rather cold and my neighbours' CCTV footage has embarrassing footage of me wading thigh-high in just my knickers (boy was that cold) to save cars and I have some impressive bruises but we are alive and kicking!
Anyhow - November's total was a truly magnificent £18405.20. Party poppers all round team :T Sorry for the delay in announcing, but been a bit busy
I will be back to PAD later Sunshine

Wow Dizzy... you trooper! And check out that total! Well done everyone!!!!
So yesterday we managed to PAD £185.88 Well done everyone! If we managed that every day that'd be over £5700 no longer being charged interest by the end of the month!
I updated tax credits last week to tell them I had a second child, they said I'd get a letter with details of updated payments but today a sum has landed in my account from them! Need to consult OH before I use more of it to PAD, so my PAD for today is £34.70, which has gone to Barclaycard. I will get to 25% paid by Christmas!
Have a good day everyone x0 -
You think you have a rough day - then you come on here and realise you so did not have a bad day :j
How is the flood dizzy - hugs and prayers
I have been on my spreadsheets and have an over budget so wee pad of £200 to savings today
And well...final appointment with care worker today which is a good thing (more independence and recovery) if a little sad
And injection nurses insisting I don't 'overdo it' after last Saturday's wobble - only I think I did that yesterday!!!

Dizzy - I admire you so much. You sound so positive in the face of a situation that would stop many in their tracks completely. Huge respect.
Sunshine - your little man sounds gorgeous. Really hope you enjoy him.
Ok peeps I am PADDING £70 to day. That's £90 for me this week so far.

Morning all!
Dizzy sounds like quite an ordeal but you sound fabulously positive. CCTV footage sounds rather amusing though!
My PAD for today is £52.85 to MBNA please sunshine
How did Littlests hospital appt go? Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0 -
Thanks everyone! I have retreated to my bed with Tiny as it is so cold and he's all out of sorts. I'm also nursing a poorly hen in the bathroom who was mauled by one of the dogs who have been running amok and my hair looks like bird's nest, but it could be worse..
I've been totalling up my auto-PADs that I set up when I knew the flood was imminent and can declare £486.45 for the past few days. Thanks Sunshine x0 -
Dizzy - I can't express words for your positivity - a llama just doesn't cut it!!!! (so you're not getting one
) - you truly are an inspiration!!! and we are blessed and so fortunate to have you on here.....
trying to find a suitable gif is going to be hard

I know it's only virtual and won't keep you warm but we all need a fudge brownie fix from time to time
