My heart goes out to the french (who would have thought I would have said that?) and I'm debating on a wee pad today after a day of spending outwith budget yesterday (by about £11) - when you've been sick and spending like it's going out of fashion - then you get better - well....you notice these £11 out of budget spends - even if you have the monies in your account. This time next week the budget and the spreadsheet should make more sense!!!

Thanks for offering to be counter upper for December sunshine...it's great fun!!!!

PS. Can someone advise if am posting the less than £1 pads right? I am posting the £ sign and the p sign? Know it makes all the difference to the counter upper and these things are often just cut and pasted onto a spreadsheet . Ta

Morning all - posting before the crisis high point of the river happens - think of us at 11am :eek:. The water is currently two metres higher than usual and still rising due to all this rain. The fields round us flood at 4.6 metres and the river gauge has measured 4.08m at 7am this morning, so it'll be close...

Yesterday we PADded a lovely £173.93 - well done us! Sashanut sneaking in at the last moment again and Erme fulfilling the need

Praying that the rain stops soon for you all. I've been a bit neglectful with my PADs as I started a new job and I've been so busy - £20 today:)

I'm not normally on here on the Lord's Day/Sabbath (today) but I have been so tempted to spendy spendy (which I don't need and is even worse cos it's sabbath) that I simply had to pad. Here's hoping I don't (might not make any difference to be honest but it's worth a try)

So wee pad today of £25.46 to my battered savings

Getting to that point in the month when all the main things have paid out and I'm left with no money so done a little bit of an account shuffle and made payment of £85 today
